If that is true and comes off, I can't wait, great news.
As much as I hate them it would be big news for the show so I'm all for it. And would provide a great war of Jedward fans vs. 'LET'S CRUCIFY THE BASTARDS!'.
Couldn't even win us the Eurovision the pricks.
I don't believe it ..... :nono:

Someone on DS said last week that they had cancelled loads of tour dates in august so probably is.

They did far better for Ireland than Blue did for the UK though. You are right in that it will be big news for BB.

I think it would be great for the show and the drama on here fore and against them would be epic :amazed:

As I said they've cancelled tour dates in August and the star and the express said they were in talks weeks ago so it's probably true. The Sun are reliable for BB.

Chuff me.. wait.. they are spending 500 grand each on Jedward? Bit much for BB isn't it. Thought they would get them much cheaper than Vinnie Jones who got paid 350K for the show!
... and whilst the story may be true figures will vary and are prone to embellishment.

They were offered just under 270k to go on CBB7 but Louis wanted 300k+.

I do hope it's true, they would cause debates and I think although they do irritate some they would be good fun. Liked their entrance and exit in BB11:joker:.
However their album is nearly out and are popular in Europe at the moment so what benefit would spending a week or something locked away without capitalising on the interest?

everybody knows these figures are hyped up BS.
they do all kinds of lowbrand stuff for peanuts so I can't see them turning down that amounts of money. A lot of this hype about them being desperately wanted by top shows is spread by Louis himself. He's a sneaky cvnt.
Their music don't sell sh!t in the UK and their ITV2 show was scrapped after 1 series. But yeah, theyre sooo in demand!
Them on CBB = me no watchy

This - shaping up to be pretty good.
I bet on the launch we'll be given like some bloke from Pop Idol or something instead.

This was only a few weeks after X Factor when they were all over the papers and for 27 days not just for an hours recording.

The one single they did release reached number 2. You got to hand it to them they're raking it in thanks to a good PR and marketing team behind them and business wise their managers are loving it.
Some parts of Europe actually get them:D, they do have some fans in the UK but not being totally popular here isn't really that big a worry if you have fans in other parts of the world too;).

You just know they'll win if they go on though.
I always said the past two series of X Factor have had better contestants [personality wise] than Big Brother has had lately.
Look at Stacey - winning IAC.
Jedward will win hands down if they go on.

However their album is nearly out and are popular in Europe at the moment...
they were popular in Europe the week after Eurovision. Louis went around saying they'd topped the charts in 5 countries...neglecting to say it was only itunes charts. Blue also did well on itunes charts across europe that week..as did several other eurovision acts. Its what happens.
Typical Louis spin.
Their album will stiff everywhere except Ireland.
ps; the one single they released? Wut? They released All the small things and it peaked at about 75...then didnt even bother releasing another as a result. Until Lipstick....which reached no40 after eurovision. Woohoo.

It was top 5 in some countries on I-Tunes. Had the single Lipstick been registered on the German chart beforehand it would have gone to number 2. That didn't happen and they got to no 12 there instead.
Still counts as success and I would love to be in their position, splitting opinion whilst having all that money to spare...

The Sun hated Jedward during X-Factor and started Bin the Twins campaign, surprised they're only mentioning Big Brother now because they think the twins might do it:rolleyes:

I hope it's true, they're more celebrity than alot of the Z listers that end up in there
-Wonders why The Sun are suddenly interested in Big Brother again-
It's random reporting based on how big that empty box on the page template is. I doubt these evil tabloid kingpins sit around in some dungeon of doom deliberately planning when to mention Big Brother and when not.

They are still there though Zippy, I believe their future will be in Television, in time they are likely to head into an Ant and Dec status, where they will be head hunted for lots of shows on TV, becusue they generate interest.
I think they will hold onto a lot of the success after Eurovision in Europe and score modest hits again in several countries but its not just about the music anymore, their tours are great for entertainment, its jam packed full of songs and energy, I have yet to hear anyone who has been to their concerts say they hated it.
I have seen them twice, loved every minute.
Ant and Dec started as actors, then singers, but as the music side faded, they moved into TV and are now the premier hosts for near any show that comes on, I think Jedward will be around for as long as they want to be and TV is the avenue they seem to be being geared to, Louis Walsh has done an amazing thing with Jedward,he is helping rake them in the millions.
They always make me smile anyway and they always entertain, they will have that strong core of followers for many years to come yet.
Hit records are not the only pointer of success, some artists sell hundreds of thousands of records yet never ever make the charts.
Jedward are going to be true overall Show business stars and I hope they continue to be for a long time to come. Good luck to them.
God bless your optimism.
They'll be doing Cbeebies Big Bear Breakfeast four years from now getting twatted with paint in the name of entertainment whilst Walsh glares on from the side controlling their electric shock collars.

Indeed. Ironically there is some Joe M fans slagging them off and his career since winning has been a let down, probably just bitter he's had to resort to another Reality TV show to get his career on track;).

If this is true, the live stream will have to have the bird noises on permanently because they'll be singing all the time and it will all have to be censored to avoid copyright laws. :p

Exactly Niamh, great voice of reason as ever, they are just 2 young guys enjoying themselves and managing in the process to gain fans and make them very happy too.
The critics said in 6 months to a year, after they were in X Factor, Jedward would be gone and well forgotten, they are still there and really its Jedward who are having the last laugh because they are literally raking high earnings in due to the huge demand for them.
I can't wait if they really are to be on Celebrity BB, I would imagine real chaos in that house.
