Shocked woman dies at own funeral

A woman has died of shock at her own funeral after being incorrectly declared dead by doctors.

Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov, 49, woke in her coffin to the horror of mourners paying their last respects.

Following her revival, Mrs Mukhametzyanov started screaming and was rushed back to hospital where she was again confirmed deceased.

Her husband Fagili explained to the Austrian Times: "Her eyes were moving and we immediately rushed her back to the hospital.

"But she only lived for another 12 minutes in intensive care before she died again, this time for good. I am very angry and want answers. She wasn't dead when they said she was and they could have saved her."

Meanwhile, a hospital spokesman announced that the malpractice will be reviewed, declaring: "We are carrying out an investigation."

Oh I remember watching a programme about similar cases. Don't know if it's the same, but there is a very rare condition that leaves you in a coma, but all signs of life go, even your heartbeat, but though you are still alive. :bawling:

Edit - oh right, you're talking about being buried alive, I dont think it's that much worse than being burned alive, it doesnt actually take very long to die at all if you do get buried alive because you run out of air so quickly

Unbelievebale such a thing could happen nowadays,surely original stringent tests would have been done to be convinced she'd died originally. Very scary.

I'd have thought that her body would have been drained of bloods, fluids and treated with the old formaldihiyde (sp) etc...... as is routine when burying anyone....otherwise the stench from rotting flesh, decaying tissue would be unbelieveable.

Very suspicious!!
