I saw a bit of his Comedy Roadshow tonight and he hit the nail right on the head about Mediums/Pyschics blah de blah
IF a real person who had "passed on" was connecting with said medium, why, being their only chance to communicate, do they not say "My full name is ****** ********* and I am related to ****** ******* and wish to speak to them" ??
Not "I'm just throwing you a D - Guess who????"

He was really good,I thought ironically as well as it being comedy how cleverly he exposed the absurdity of such a thing happening.
Really good, really funny and I was watching with other Students and one of them who had a sort of belief in it,said she'd never thought of that, she is very sceptical now of it today though.

It's the dolts in the audience who 'give out a snippet' of info: the medium rewords what they have offered up as info: and the idiots sit there, gobsmacked, welling up and crying: thinking it's all true.
There are some seriously niave people out there..... I think collectively known as Mugs. !!

Medium: "yes, he's telling me he had lung problems,...that's why he
was showing me his upper body"...
Mug: OH YES... it is uncle Bobby....OMG ... *sobs*
Honest to god..... how thick can some people really be!! How do they get by in life!!

"Oh don't cry love... sorry, what's your name? Carol - thankyou Carol"
"Yes, oh thankyou so much"
20 minutes later
"I'm getting a message for a Carol coming through........"

Medium: There's a spirit of a man, fond of his dog: is it you love
Mug: Old cousin used to have a dog
Medium: was it white, have white on it's coat?
Mug: I dont think so, I think it was all black
Medium: he's showing me a dog he loved, had a bit of white on its belly
Mug: Oh that might be right enough, Jack used to love tickling the dogs belly...
and so it goes on..

I was once at a friends house and they had a psychic coming for a demonstration, there were only about 20 of us there all students, she said I have a man coming through and his spirit is very strong, he may have not long crossed over or may have been on the other side a long time. It seems he has a connection with someone here,he's maybe their Father, Grandfather,Great Grandfather Uncle or someone they knew as Uncle, may even be an older Brother.
I was near choking trying not to laugh or blurt out ''what absolute nonsense''.

Years ago, my mum wanted one to come to the house - claimed to be both a fortune teller as well as a medium. (I know, I know).... she didn't arrive due to her car breaking down. :conf: Rearranged the date.
Then proceeded to tell me about my children. I have none.
Mentioned about me having just moved house. I hadn't, and still haven't.
Said my friend was pregnant. She'd had a hysterectomy.
Claimed my father had problems with his car (saw him driving into the driveway in an 8 year old car.... every likely hood an 8 yr old car would have 'something' needing attended to).
You get the drift....... £40 a pop as well......:o:D

A lot of my family believe in it and I admit in the past I've been taken in. When you lose loved ones I think it's very easy to fall into the trap. But it's exactly that. A trap that they prey on. Makes you sick

Surely if you had such a gift you'd give it freely. Not for £40 an hour or whatever

It's like everything else in life Kerry.... people learn from their mistakes: but yes, they do pray on the very vulnerable at times.

Can remember watching a Louis Theroux documentory 'outing' them. Well, more "Spiritualists" and "Healers" with the odd medium thrown in
Funnily enough, he was slung out when he questioned them :joker:
