I thought i'd start a thread? :) If there is any Torchwood fans!

The BBC Have finally announced that Torchwood: Miracle Day will air on July 14th (Thursday) at 9pm.

The Episode Titles are as follows

Series Details
One day, nobody dies. All across the world, nobody dies. And then the next day, and the next, and the next, people keep aging -- they get hurt and sick -- but they never die. The result: a population boom, overnight.



With all the extra people, resources are finite. It’s said that in four month's time, the human race will cease to be viable. But this can’t be a natural event – someone’s got to be behind it. I have found a Online Stream from the US of Episode 1. However the UK Version has extra scenes as it is a hour long. If anyone would like it please tell me ASAP.

The BBC Promised us a 6 min extra cut. However it was just a trailer. And the program didn't even start on 9pm!

Torchwood is confusing at the best of times. But i bet everything will become clearer in the future.


Episode 2 - Rendition - Thursday July 21st 2011

As the Torchwood team is reunited, Jack realises he's the most vulnerable man on Earth; and a flight to the USA turns into a desperate battle for survival.

I'm not sure I like this one, it kind of feels like a generic series with Torchwood tacked on. It's a bit too americanised now I think and Rex is so typical that it hurts. I hope that this was just a bad episode and not representative of the series as a whole. It's a world away from Children of Earth and that's not a good thing.

When Children Of Earth aired it felt so British and normal. I Have to admit it looks American even the Theme has changed..

I thought it was okay, it's getting better but Rex ruins it. He's just a stereotypical obnoxious american for the sake of having an obnoxious american. There's nothing to his character so far apart from that.

I'm just starting ep4, and I'm enjoying this show a lot more than I thought I would be.

Are the other seasons as good? Are the one long story like this? And are they set in the US as well?

The final episode was decent enough but i did predict the 'cure' last week on a different forum.

Overall i think the entire series was way too long. It had more padding than an Essex girls bra. The whole series would easily have fit in to a 5 episode special. There would have been no need for the boring dross that we had during the middle of the series.

I still don't understand what Oswald Danes role was in the series. It's not like his character actually 'did' anything. Very strange role IMO.

It was somewhat strange, but he was the only interesting character for me in the show, so I didn't mind.

An okay ending, but nothing compared to the great Children of Earth, which was some of the best sci-fi telly of the 21st century.

This was my first (and probably last apart from CoE), viewing of Torchwood. I have read great things about Children of Earth though. I will probably download those episodes very soon. I am a sci-fi nut but some of it just isn't worth the effort.

Yes, watch Children of Earth, it's amazing. I'm not really a Torchwood fan(don't really like Captain Jack), but Children of Earth is just brilliance.
