I got told I was a wannabe American once.
whats your worst insult that you have been given?
By worst insult, I mean the crappest one you have ever been given, not the most offensive. I do apologize if I caused any confusion

i don't have a fro, nor is my hair ginger, that's why it was a terrible insult
'Shut up druggie', 'who cares what a drug addict thinks' etc.
There was a very small window two or three years ago where that was applicable. THE WINDOW IS SHUT.

I never really argue with anyone so it doesn't get to a heated point ever with me where insults may start flying.
I try not to and don't think I have really insulted anyone.soap characters and celebrities I may do sometimes but never people I am around or know.

The most 'cutting thing' ever said to me was on the day of my father's funeral. My mother was a hopeless alcoholic and had serious psychological issues.
My father'sdied in not the best of circumstances and there was no 'wake' - just a few close friends to return to the house. I refused to have alcohol served (for obvious reasons) and had asked those attending, if they agreed (they all did and they all backed up me 100%).
My mother spat out at me that she would never forgive me for not giving my father a proper send off and that I was a disgrace to him and her. She was sober at the time.
I don't think I'll ever get over the hurt that one small comment caused me.
S*** as they say, happens.

Unbelievable (not that I don't believe you.. I mean it's unbelievable the things another human being can say to another one... especially ones that are meant to love one another).

That's awful Pyramid, I would have supported your stance on that,in fact I always refuse to take alcohol when at a funeral, before or after it. I just don't see the need for it.

what makes it worse is that it was my sister LOL - although tbf she was drunk and I'd just poured a glass of (my) champagne (that she'd decided to open for and consume herself) over her.

Not sure about the worst, but the most hurtful was being teased at school.

best insult ever was JD (RW Brooklyns) mother telling him he was $50 away from an abortion.
That is a very good insult. In fact it's going to replace my default 'how was it surviving your own abortion?' YouTube comment one.

Ach thanks.. like I say, there's plenty out there that have suffered worse than just words .....
TBF, I've been to several funerals / wakes where booze flowed freely, everyone got smashed because they were indeed celebrating the life of the person who had died - which I do feel is right and those type of funerals/wakes - it's one of the things that can really help those closest - because many want to remember the good, the joy, the happy times, the laughs.... it can be very helpful.
Unfortunately: the circumstances weren't quite the same in this case.

JDs parent sounded hilarious,
according to JD his parents came to America from Cuba on a banana boat
and whilst in Brooklyn he got a phone call from the police after his dad stole his social security number.

Is this worst as in most offensive or worst as in most ridiculous?
Worst is somebody saying that my father is probably happy that he's dead as he doesn't have to put up with me. :sad:
The most ridiculous ones include:
* Pleb
* F**cktard
* Bogan (australian version of a chav)

Oh just realized you meant 'Most Offensive' - that should of been made more clearer.
Anyways;
Most offensive:
'No one in the school likes you, you're a ******ing big headed fa*got - just ****** off'
And then after that I was bombed with more insults, driving me into my all time low - Summer '09 :love: - but yes that's it.

After giving my slightly unusual surname to a supervisor who was of Arabic heritage I was asked, "What sort of a name is that?"
Quite stinging that comment, so I replied "********ng Scottish".
Had hacked off my dad one time and he blurted out "The best part of you ran down your mums leg".
