Episode 5: Results


Good evening and welcome to the results for the 5th episode.

I welcome back Shaun who had been banned by a mod for a day between challenges, meaning that he did not fail the task for you (as it had not been set) and that he is still in the game. (Novo's ban last year was for a week).


So I chained you all together last night and asked you to release players from the chain one at a time by giving them all the points.

GypsyGoth started the game by giving her point away first, and hence earning herself a reward, which we will discuss in a bit...

You also chose MeMyselfandI to be neutralised from an exemption (those of you that were online at the time) so you could push the game forward. This came at a price though...

...he was neutralised from gaining an exemption when he was released from the chain, but if the task was succesfully completed he would gain an exemption that way.


You all managed to release yourselves from the chain, unlike the previous seasons, but did anybody take the exemption?


Well firstly, as you know GypsyGoth was given a reward for being the first player to donate a point. She had the option of an exemption (which if taken would fail the challenge) or a neutraliser (which she can use in the next round regardless of if she is still in the game).

Shaun, Karl and KG could not take the exemption as they were the first 3 to be released and MeMyselfandI was neutralised. But did any of you manage to resist temptation..

However, 'Conor did not, and took the exemption. Therefore this challenge has been failed.
