Apparently they've now arrested the man who accused him

Louis Walsh is ‘relieved and overjoyed’ today after being told that police have dropped a sexual assault case against him.

The X Factor judge had spent the past five days embroiled in a ‘nightmare’ after a 24-year-man accused him of groping him in a nightclub toilet.

Mr Walsh was interviewed by detectives last Friday in Dublin after spending six hours with his legal team.

However, the 58-year-old millionaire music manager was told that Irish Garda would not be proceeding with the case on Monday night.

Mr Walsh told the Mail: ‘I have been informed by An Garda Síochána that I am now no longer under investigation. I have robustly maintained from the outset that this alleged incident did not occur.

Louis because he originally denied it and so he should get the pay off because he didn't do nothing wrong:).

And so they should! Hope the man apologises for his actions.

Dissapointing.

Why?

Louie is a great funny (unintentionally) guy. He is totally WRONG for the X Factor yet totally RIGHT too. I've become fond of him over the years - his faux pas, his (often outrageous) comments, his zany expressions ...

He is very private about his private life and his personal relationships. In this day and age that's RARE, so I greatly admire him for that. I think had this gone any further it would have wrecked his XF future and possibly his career and, who knows, his life. So I am pleased this has been settled and it's OVER.

I knew it was nonsense and I read that Louis is exploring the possibility of seeking to sue the Sun for its biased and wrong headline too, I hope he does.

It's shocking Louis has had to put up with this rubbish.

maybe it was Kimberly Walsh and the guy was confused?
