It was one of the things I loved... .though I liked 'him' as the chest of drawers in the bathroom. Some of the banter was first class - and he said much of what many of us were thinking!!!

I didn't mind the banter but I hated the silly tasks housemates were given,I personally would prefer it not to be back but if it is, I hope it's more imaginative than the last series.

I didn't like it at all, I like the idea of secret tasks but not from a silly wardrobe. Way too cheesy.

Yes, this is my real thoughts on it too.

It was great in CBB7, got old quickly in BB11.

:bawling::bawling:
I liked the TOT.
:bawling::bawling:
I'd like the concept to return somehow, but I think the Tree of Temptation character should be dropped - Dan Nettleton, the guy that voiced it, has moved on to I'm A Celebrity.
I Think Every Week They Should Get Each Housemates family Or Friends To Voice The Tree,And Set A Certain Prank on the certain housemate who there friends and family dont like :)

Everyone knows about the Tree of Temptation now though so it wouldn't be as good of a surprise if it was to return. Plus it wasn't even a tree in BB11, it was a set of drawers. What's it going to be next - a table? :conf:
I say just tell people about secret tasks in the diary room. I always find that more exciting.

Guys its Channel 5. I don't think they'd want Channel 4's Ideas.. And plus he got a bit boring/over used.

its too predictable for the hms now so nope, just give missions from the DR

Fair point about it not being Ch4 - but I'd say the ideas were more Endemol, rather than the TV channel - so I'm not entirely sure that will have any real affect.

What BB needs is no meddling,no gimmicks,no stupid twists, straight noms and a back to the BB game it once was

Absolutely. None of this fixing nominations and twisting it for their chosen few not to be nominated, or faffing about with the voting process....keep it the same way throughout.

Pfft its been overused now and the housemates are fully aware of it.
We need something fresh that the housemates would never clock on to.
Lets not rehash old predictable ideas

it made big brother fake
lets just watch them be themselves and not be told what to do
then it will be more like the real world
Hope it doesn't return. The only housemate who truely stood up to it was Ben, which for that alone made it watchable :joker: but brought out the tree's truely nasty, vindictive side then
No more tree or drawers of temptation please.

Didn't like it, it was too predictable the second time around compared to it being new and exciting the first time so there was no real surprise, also the awful Davina McCaw parrot wasn't used to the extent it was supposed to be.

Why would BB want to be more like the real world. It's a completely different concept altogether.
Geezo.
As for the TOT making BB fake. Have you actually watched the show, and seen how fake many of housemates are?

No the tot is old now! loved it during cbb, it wasn't as good in bb11, it could only go one way which is down! secret missions are ok but do them via the diary room

I totally agree. New ideas are the way forward and as you point out, housemates and viewers are well aware of the tree of temptation anyway.
A new era and new ideas are needed for that.

No, I did not like the tree of Temptatation anyway.

New ideas are not the way forward for me. I don't want any stupid gimmicks like that to make the show interesting. A well selected bunch of housemates left on their own should make things entertaining.

Well, it needs a fair bit of fresh thinking and new ideas in relation to the last 2 series which near destroyed BB altogether. It was winding down on Channel 4 for the last 2 years and the lack of good production and new and fresh ideas showed that.

The TOT has been used before. C5 need a back to basics approach to get viewers interested. Old gimmicks will not go down well MO.

This.
Plus, we don't want to keep on dragging things from the C4 BB to C5, it's a new start. We don't want any old housemates being involved as well, just keep it all new and fresh.

No it became pointless after everyone knew. If I hear the words
'You're on a secret task aren't you'
one more time this year i'll crack :hmph:

Fair point.
Mind you... that's said by half the housemates all the time after someone is called to the diary room, returns to the fold and doesn't discuss what BB was talking to them about.

No. Got far too tacky in the end and the tasks it gave were very very cringey to watch. Like that Andrew's one, WTF was that :joker:

No Tree of Temptation. No too many stupid gimmicks!!
The TOT just showed how poor BB11 was because it did all the work for them!!
It can't come back. Sorry!
The only gimmicky thing they should have is a secret camera. Like Bunny Cam from BB7. LOL
Plus secret rooms and all that jazz!
The secret rooms get on my nerves also, plus they are not secret, and most of the housemates guess about them, especially when they can hear the work going on. The best BB's had hardly any or no gimmicks at all. It's the gimmicks and too much interferring from BB rather than let the housemates get on with it that ruined many a BB, and gave us end results that were manipulated to achieve.
I did enjoy when BB trashed the house and garden in BB8 though and left the housemates to clear it up :joker: I remember Nicky's face although she and the others took it in good heart :joker:

Agree with you on this Suze, this time they should learn from past mistakes and leave them mostly to their own devices, the first ever series with Craig and nasty Nick was brilliant. People watching at its best.
