My daughter has never ever been sunburnt as I literally cake her in sunblock but today/yesterday she was at a sleepover and came back lobster-fied
I also have to laugh that English men, year in year out, strut around in just a pair of shorts yet are guarenteed to be in a sun/beer induced coma by 8PM. Sobbing in their sleep
Ahhhhhh summer.....

Yeah I was sunburnt last week on my back. Luckily today I put suncream on my back. And not trying to do it myself like last week :nono:
ALWAYS ask someone to help you put suncream on your back!
Ahh day off from work tomorrow too! :) Think I will wash my car in the sun!

I'm sort of scarred on my shoulders from sunburn. I say sort of because it's not really physical but the skin is hard and rough and has been for about 3/4 years.
I was in Spain when it happened and it stung like a bitch. One of the worst experiences ever because if I didn't wear a shirt it would get worse, but if I did wear one it used to rub on the sunburn and make it bleed.
Doesn't help that I've got really pale skin so always burn and never tan. Probably due to being quarter Irish. :bored:

i don't think i'm capable of getting sunburnt. i literally just turn brown.
I'm adopted, so i don't know my heritage, but i've defintely been blessed with plenty of melanin. I must have some mediteranean in me.

Only ever been sunburnt in Egypt once, and that was because 3 hours in the sun with no suncream on in a country like egypt, i was asking for it really.

Given the unusually fab warm weather we had here this weekend, I was surprised I didn't see many people promoting the lobster look.

It's alright cos my nose is so big that people are too focused on that.

I tend to burn a bit on the day, and when I wake up in the morning I'm brown.
My face and arms go brown, only my legs burn. That's been the case this weekend.

Try to avoid direct sunlight whenever possiple really, couple of years ago I burnt my nose real bad and it scarred horribly
Have had to put cream on it everyday for 2 years now and if not it would go all scarred again
Sucks

That's me too. I have to go red first - which is the worst way apparently to get a tan. :(
My back & shoulders were very badly sunburned when I was a kid - and now, they go the most gorgeous deep dark golden colour. My legs take forever.

My arms go brown but I'm really fair skinned so (given the chance) I burn. I hate being hot though so I sit in the shade or stay indoors  If theres something I have to do, say shopping, when it's roasting you do NOT want to be around me. I get so ratty it's untrue :joker:

One of the worst burns I had was a few years ago, courtesy of a sunbed.
Let's just say: the more gentler regions were not best pleased at my need for undergarments..... :o Not one of my better ideas I have to say!
