Will there be/ would you like a launch night twist?
Personally I loved the one in the last celebrity big brother where they had to fit in to the mini.
Thoughts?

eeemmm, I'm not a big fan of launch night twists tbh, they're usually stupid. I'd rather watch them have a few drinks and suss eachother out

If theres not there better be a good theme or (near) mid-series twist.

You're kidding right?

CBB7's one sucked - they either through it in there to fill a gap in time before the show ended or they had planned for one of the celebrities to be left out of the car; however that failed and the twist failed.

Infact it wasn't even worthy of being called a twist.

More of a 'Launch Night Mini Task.'

yeah, I suppose but the long lasting ones started to annoy me, after a few days I wanted to wipe the stupid moustache off Noirin myself!

I'd love one only if it's a proper twist. No gimmicks. And by that I mean no fit in a car funtime or drawing glasses on someones face, slightly hampering her masturbation value for the first few weeks.

Twists should be brutal, game changing and long. Not weekly things that are forgotten once they are done away with.

I hope not. Lets just get them in and get to know them first.

Don't think the mini thing was a twist, just a little task which was pointless imo lol

Agree 100%

Something like the announce 'This is Big Brother, there is no nominating until further notice'

Then first 4 weeks public nominate, top 3 up for eviction in which the housemates choose - done in diary room, have to take 1 minute to give full reasons, so we get the DR drama.

Im really craving something different, but appears most people want the same old.

I loved it when the hms had to fit in a mini!

BB10's launch night twist was brilliant too! And Benazir being evicted on a big red bus!! It was such an epic 1st week but then went downhill :(

Mmm.. maybe it is best just to put the 14 or whatever number of hms go in on launch night and just leave them!! Give them plenty of booze. Maybe a spin the bottle ;) and just let them have fun on the first night!

Unlike BB9 when Mario, Lisa, Stephanie and Luke were already chosen to be part of that stupid task which sacrificed Steph :(

Or on BB Hijack when that Jon was already chosen to to be part of a task and then he passed it and was fast tracked to the final.. then won.. bit lame.

The twist will be be the launch of the new Presenter. This seems to be the only way Desmond can keep the " Exclusives" to himself.

I don't really think of the CBB7 mini task as beign a twist. It was simply a task which got them interacting and in to the mood of it. Generally the only CBBs to have launch night twists are CBB4 (non-celebrity), CBB5 (revealed a family would be joining in 2 days time) and CBB6 (Head of House).

Anyways, Hopefully there will be a twist because it's been happening ever since BB2 so even if Channel 5 see this as the 'first series' they'll bear in mind that a twist is esssential

How can anyone say BB10's twist was good? LOL

It sucked.

And im sorry but watching Benazair being evicted to no crowd and sent home on a ****ing bus was just cruel and not entertaining wise.

The housemates audition for months so let them be ****ing housemates and give us a few weeks to judge their charcters.

Just stick them in the house and get them p!ssed.

Simples :)

I agree that put the housemates in and there should be NO 1st eviction until at least 2 weeks after they enter the house!

I think everyone wants something different - like alot of us want BB to go back to the Golden Days of BB5-BB7 another lot want BB to go back to it's BB1-BB3 simplistic roots.

I agree with that too, we need a couple of weeks to try to work out the housemates.

Nah, I like for them to all settle and to get to know them a little before there is any big twist

Will always say that BB6 had the best launch task ever. Housemate was random, task was simple yet it worked so well. If there is some sort of launch task then it should be 'could one housemate come to the diary room', given a task like to assume a fake persona or something like that, and let us get on with it for a good ten days at least before anyone gets kicked off :)

Yes, BB6 had a great launch night twist.

Unless you were a Mary fan.

Curious that Makosi put Craig and Mary up considering she had nommed Anthony & Roberto a few days earlier.

Anthony might have been first out instead of winner.

BB9's was the best ever. Which matches the whole series to be honest.

I would like a decent Launch Night twist, not a crappy one which hasn't been thought out very well... But yeah I would like one. A brilliant one.

BB9 = Best Big Brother Ever.

It'd be horrible if we had enough twist like BB9, it was one of the worst parts of the series. Im not slagging it off because its one of my favourites but it was unfair that Steph [/others] had no say in it being them who had to do the task even though they'd earned their place just like everyone else. Atleast in BB6 it was which ever HM came to the diary room first so chosen at random not BB selected certain people to single out. Its BB's fault Steph went.

I think it depends on how they are played out. I saw that BBIsrael2 did the BBUK9 one. The thing they did different tho was they had the real wife re-enter the house so it looked less suspicious. It was more convincing and the other HMs didnt get suspicious as quickly. I also think it was just played out well by the HMs that knew about it. Especially the real wife since she was the most jealous person ive ever seen. But it was good tv. & neither the real or fake wife got evicted the first time. The week after the real wife got ejected but thats a different story

I hate the idea of a launch task only affecting one housemate, like with Mario the Mole or Celeb Hijack John. They were boring for the rest of their series and rested on their laurels of the "hilarious" antics they were told to do by the producers.

Makosi was luckily entertaining enough even when her task ended, but I don't want that kind of favouritism to one housemate; at least involve 4-5 like BB9.

They should line up 100s of hopefuls and only let in the first 14 people willing to shave off all their hair..

Get a load of people and make them race/fight to get to the door. Each person is allowed one weapon.
