It only takes a split second reaction for it to do serious damage. I saw a documentary where a couple raised lions for performing. They treated them like pets and were all huggy with them.

One day she got her throat ripped and killed by one. Then later on he got attacked and nearly killed by another. Its just a matter of time before something happens.

You can't predict a wild animals behaviour. You can't even predict a dogs behaviour and they have centuries of domestication.
