...and do you think it's the first sign of madness?
I've realised recently I talk to myself way too much and it's kindof... odd LOL. I do love having a good old crazy monologue to myself though. <3
What about yourselves?

I think aloud if I am rehearsing things I have to say at a presentation at Uni, other times I keep my mouth firmly shut.
As the saying goes, it's better to be thought a fool rather than open your mouth and remove all doubt.
Constantly. All it is is the verbalisation of you're inner monologue anyway.

When it's in your head, it's called thinking.

Yeah, but I don't think it's madness. Occasionally I talk to myself in various voices though, and I think that's probably a bit worrying. I have a Lancashire character called Jane.

One of my 'persons' is the most successful artists in my made up country (Which is about the size of Australia) which I have been since 2000. I plan to use that stage name when if I am famous.

Yepp and its not madness, just open thinking. Its easier to analyse talking out loud.
Always do my own Commentry when i am playing Fifa but that's about it..
Example:
Go on Jelavic!
-7 seconds later-
You ****ing clown Jelavic
And then soon after my mother telling me to be quiet.. she doesn't know how serious Fifa can get and she'll never know :bored:

I talk to myself constantly... and answer myself!
Example:
on reaching the top of the stairs yesterday...
Me - "what the bloody hell am I up here for again?"
Me - "i have no idea!"
Me - well I'm going to have to back downstairs and it'll come back to me"
Me - "dumb bitch"

Not out loud usually but I have an almost constant internal dialogue going on with myself.
In my head yeah, especially if I've got to confront someone about something, I plan what I will say in my head and I think it will go really well, but when it actually happens I get so nervous the words come out all wrong and I make a complete b***s up of it. I'm very articulate in my own head, if only...................

I often 'talk to the tv' when reality stuff like x factor and apprentice is on, I have been known to shout at Louis Walsh, cos he is a total idiot, to put it as politely as I can.

I talk to myself with rage sometimes and shout at my computer, and other objects.
When I go into tantrums I shout things like 'You think this is ******ing funny seeing me like this?' to my Computer or something.
I smashed a tall lamp before because I thought it was smiling at my frustration so I started hurling abuse at it and then smashed it.
I talk to objects more than myself, but if I do something epic in School, Outside or at Home I sometimes congratulate myself.
Like the other day at the Skate Park I managed to do a kickturn I think and was like 'Oh I'm so amazing, well done Patrick - good lad.' and I was lost in a mountain the other day with my friends, then I lost my Blackberry in a forest up there and had to look for it and when I found it I was like 'Someone's getting extra Porn time tonight!'

... slightly worried.
All the time. Just this morning I was having a conversation with Me. I asked Me if I should get out of bed or sleep in for a bit. Me said I should get up, so I did what Me said and got up. I'm glad Me advised I should get up, because I've gotten some stuff done that really needed doing. I get some good advice from Me.
