As I'm old and come from a very small place.........our thing was to get wrecked with former teachers at the bar, then attend the event, then tents on the playing fields in a big heap...............I liked this at the time as I learned that a rather nice young lady (who was accepted to same Uni as me) liked sleeping in same sleeping bag as me. Bang went thoughts of existing girlfriend.......oops.

:joker: No tents I'm afraid, we just had the event out in Bristol where there were some drunken ramblings with old teachers which was interesting, then some of us went to a bar to watch the Haye fight and then just went to a Club, the teachers sometimes come out later but they didn't this year, probably didn't like our year that much :p

Silly story Matt - Bristol eooh er. I have a soft spot for there. My ex-flatmate from from 1st Uni time had a penfriend from Bristol and they'd write everyday. He thought he was in there for all the emotional confidences they'd shared.

So she took the train to Edinburgh to our flat to visit. She just ended-up sleeping in my bed and going out for fun with me as he was "a boring geologist" - you can guess how frosty the flatmate atmosphere became after that!!!!!!

I'm smart though pal - you pick quiet people who will be sensible as flatmates. Most of my real mates were total potheads/pissants - if you looked at their flats it was total devastation. I had sensible hidey-hole place!

I did Marc - put £500 on a team to hold them. England won 2-1 bugger! I had a hangover, I'd been betting on Womens's World Cup and about £200 up - I made a bad mistake!
