Just thought I'd remind everybody that there is a special programme on tonight at 9PM, BBC1 that about the final five that 'profiles the remaining five candidantes, revealing the true stories behind their super-confident egos'. It was really interesting last year, its worth a watch!

I'm looking forward to it - In the final few weeks of the show, apprentice fever takes over me  Watched the first episode this morning on my sky+ planner, it's always interesting to see the final 5 in week 1 and how they've changed!

I might actually do that! Very good idea :) the BBC website is good as it details everything that the remaining candidates have done every week e.g. their contributions each week

I was LOLing at the first guy who went, Edward Hunter. His management skills were awful.

Oh god yeah, he was awful! :laugh2:

She shouldn't have gone so soon!

So is someone going to get fired tonight then?

Lewis.
07-07-2011, 01:31 PM
So is someone going to get fired tonight then?

Nope. It's basically just a show that talks about the last 5 contestants, their backgrounds and their time in the show in a bit more depth than the main show.

Oh she should have. Hahaha I LOL'ed hard when she was like 'So guys -big beaming smile-' somebody else: 'That went terribly' LOL

It was almost as cringeworthy as the roleplay between Melody and Tom

It was just so funny that in the car Melody was going on about how it couldn't be cheesy and then when they did it I'd never seen so much cheesiness in my life! Gotta give it to them for trying though!

I can't believe that they repeated it again though - surely they knew it was BAD.

Loads of repeat clips
no new tasks.

No Ch4HD - The Killing
is better.

Tom shouldn't be in the final five, same goes for Natasha.

reece(:
07-07-2011, 08:17 PM
exactly should totally have melody and leon/edna

Shaun
07-07-2011, 08:18 PM
Natasha

Marc

Natasha

Ew.. really?

Marc
07-07-2011, 08:22 PM
Melody instead of Tom.

That's all I suggest. Natasha kinda deserves it

Marc
07-07-2011, 08:23 PM
(to Shaun)

As in she's attractive or you love her personality?

Lewis.
07-07-2011, 08:24 PM
I think it's her confidence. Confidence is always attractive.

Susan <3

Shaun
07-07-2011, 08:26 PM
I think she's a nice person. She's determined and has been pretty successful - won both her tasks as PM and only lost 4 times overall.

Lewis.
07-07-2011, 08:26 PM
Edna

Poor Susie though, Edna was a bitch that week.

Marc
07-07-2011, 08:27 PM
She is a bit of a mess though.

Susan's baby picture was hideous :laugh2:

Lewis.

She's very under-rated I think. If you look at her stats she is second best after Helen.

Marc

Edna

Susan was a complete mess when she was explaining that though!!

Shaun
07-07-2011, 08:29 PM
Awww, Susan and her mum

Marc
07-07-2011, 08:30 PM
That's both Susan and Natasha giving the.. "I was so unprivileged" spiel!

Lewis.
07-07-2011, 08:30 PM
Susan was a complete mess when she was explaining that though!!

Nerves definitely got to her I think. Like it said, she was the youngest. That'll probably be her downfall if LS is comparing her to someone like Helen or Jim - experience.

Marc
07-07-2011, 08:31 PM
Helen and Tom are probably the most employable people left.

Lewis.

Probably, but remember he's not employing someone this year, he's partnering with them.

Oops.. that's what I meant. They are both the experienced people who know how to deal with what's thrown at them the best.

Still don't think Tom would be able to manage a team of people. He did an awful job in the Paris task, although he did have Melody to contend with.

Lewis.
07-07-2011, 08:36 PM
In a way it's quite sad that Helen thinks that about her personal life.

Shaun
07-07-2011, 08:36 PM
In terms of likeability for me:
Tom > Susan > Jim > Natasha > Helen

In terms of good business acumen:
Helen > Tom > Natasha > Susan > Jim

He's useless but the 'product' making/selling side of the prize would be great for him and LS knows that he would be good at dealing with that. Helen can manage people very well

I think is LS was looking for an apprentice again, Tom would be in with a chance, but I'm not sure that LS would be willing to take on someone like Tom.

Oh trust me I don't think he should win at all! He doesn't stand up for himself and he's not very clear with his ideas and direction. I'm just trying to think of reasons why he is still in the race..

"The mouse that roared", as LS said. I love a good old rant in the boardroom, especially when an underdog seems to climb to the top of the ladder and make the others look like complete nobs, as Susie did to Glenn and Jim in the magazine task
