A large part of FC Twente's stadium has collapsed, according to SSN so far 2 have been killed and 12 have been injured, would hate to think what they figures would have been if there had been a game on at the time. I think it may have been caused due to the steep design of the stadium.

My sympathy goes out to those involved in this and their families.

Unthinkable:(. This should further reinforce the need for more safety procedures at matches.

Safe, open terracing is the way to go IMO as someone who want to stand at sing at the game... it creates much more atmosphere than all seater stadiums! They are already in use in Germany and are completely fine health and safety wise, wish they'd introduce them in Britain!
