View Full Version : BB13 - TWO game twists, returning couples, first HOH revealed (Spoilers)
Pairs
The houseguests have been paired off. The HOH will nominate one pair, and they will have to campaign against each other to avoid eviction. The pairs are:
- Lawon, Kalia
- Cassi, Shelley
- Adam, Dominic
- Keith, Porsche
In addition, the returning houseguests are:
- Rachel, Brendon
- Jeff, Jordan
- Evel Dick, Daniele
Head of Household
In the first HoH competition, houseguests had to hold on to giant bananas suspended in the air for as long as they could. Rachel won, securing immunity for her and Brendon.
Golden Key
Finally, nominees who survive eviction in the first four weeks will earn a 'Golden Key'. This golden key guarantees them immunity from all evictions until only ten houseguests are remaining in the house. Golden key holders are not eligible to take part in competitions, but may cast eviction votes.

I already love this season but I was seriously hoping that I'd never see Rachel again.

My only consolation in having to deal with Rachel again is I get Jeff and Jordan again. AND the other two couples are far bigger targets so yay.

It's already better than the whole series of BB12.
Jordan, Daniele, Jeff, Cassi are my faves. And obviously Dick.
Apart from Cassi, I don't think the newbies will be tough enough. But we'll see.

Crap, crap and more crap. BBUSA has a great basic format which developed nicely from season to season over the first five years - but for the last eight years it's remained basically unchanged - and although the nominations/Golden Key twist is a nice idea, overall this season has the lamest twist of all.
Alison Grodner needs to go - ever since Arnold Shapiro handed the reigns over to her the show has gone absolutely nowhere, whilst Survivor and The Amazing Race still seem to be developing after a decade (and twice as many seasons) on air.
BBUSA could be great once more if they'd only up their game and not be afraid to introduce twists which actually do stir things up and change the dynamics of the game completely - but no, they'd rather stick to exactly the same script word for word every year (I know that opening intro word for word now they've used it so long!) and continue with a format which is as predictable as night following day.
