Starts today... not sure if this is being televised in England, think it's on BBC Three for 2 hours tonight, but is on in Scotland throughout the whole weekend.

Tonight, Arctic Monkeys are headlining the Main Stage, can't wait to see what they are like... hope they play a mixture of stuff from 'Suck It and See' and 'Whatever People Say I am, That's What I'm Not'... and possibly '505' and 'Fluorescent Adolescent'. They've already headlined TITP before though so hopefully they can top that performance.

Same, plenty of my mates are going too and I was asked to go, but the only headliners at the time were Foo Fighters. So I thought nah, I think I'll pass, but now Arctic Monkeys are headlining, Beady Eye are playing and there is rumours Noel is going to play acoustically, I kinda wish I went

That does look pretty good, and I bet there will be plenty excellent bands on the smaller stages who very few have came across yet.

Lee.
08-07-2011, 11:38 AM
I think TITP and oxegen are organised by the same people, so the acts are generally the same just in different days.

I have to say that Beyonce headlining a music festival unsettles me somewhat.

That is the worst festival ever, for little kids who like Tinchy Stryder feat. Chipmunk or whatever.

T4 isin't really a festival. More sort of a one stage, one day playpen for all he worst type of people in the world to gather and listen to all the worst music in the world. I'm convinced it's being used as a perverse military exercise or something.

I don't think TITP would have had it too bad yesterday... I'm quite close and had thunder and lightning but not a lot if rain... tonight though just as I was leaving work, the heavens opened.
