Vomiting: worst feeling ever?

I went out yesterday and I felt sick when I was there. When I was coming back home, I threw up on a street near to my house, and everybody just stood there, glaring at me. Vomited twice when I got home. :laugh:

I threw up water on the second go.

Now I can neither eat nor drink until 10.00am. :D

Ive not been sick for years, I have a bit of a phobia that Ill choke or something, and the smell is just AWFUL. So whenever I feel like Im about to be sick and could just relax and let it all come up I fight so hard not to :laugh:

Normally I don't mind it, but a couple of months ago I went a day or 2 where whenever I ate, I just brought it back up 30 mins later, and that really was brutal whilst I was being sick, genuinely felt like I was going to die.

got to say: the very worst when actually being sick: is when some of it goes up the back of your nose - stings like hell and knowing the only way to get rid is to 'snort it back down your throat'.

I rarely even feel sick actually. But when I do I will fight it for hours rather than just let it come up...even though I know if I did throw up I would feel loads better instantly :/

Like others have said the buid up is far worse. Actually doing it is like taking a much needed piss. And it usually clears some room for more of whatever substance you're imbibing.

I love the feeling personally...well I'd rather not do it, but it feels great afterwards. Accidentally being a bit sick and having to swallow it again is awful though.

But not straight after as that can spread the stomach acid around the teeth further. The best thing is maybe rinse your mouth with moutwash first then after 15-1hr brush teeth. But still even then not safe from the acid :devil:

The build up is far worse. I'll spend half an hour lying on the sofa feeling sorry for myself and then I'll go into the bathroom and spend another half another pacing around the bathroom in desperation for it not to come, then I'll just accept facts and vomit everywhere. Afterwards I feel great again!

I'm petrified of vomiting, seriously. I'm lucky I hardly ever do it but last time (about 4 years ago) was horrendous. I suffer with general severe panic attacks on a daily basis and had some sort of stomach virus and I threw up WHILST having a panic attack, so I was suffocating then puked and carried of suffocating during. Was awwwwful!

I remember one time though I had that winter bug and I threw up well over 20 times in 24 hours, and I mean full on projectile vomit not just a little trickle!

The best thing is avoid when adding colours to drinks ie, blackcurrant, orange and coke they have a nasty tendency of coming back to haunt you on a night out on the lash.:joker:

I ate too much subway on Tuesday and I got sick in a bin on Henrys Street and beside the spire in O'Connells street in Dublin.Thats the equivalent of getting sick on the Big Ben and in a bin on Oxford street.

What I hate is the way you vomit either water or nothing at all. It looks like I'm having an epileptic fit when I vomit. But, yes, the build-up is very painful, indeed. I try to suppress my puke for as long as possible, but there comes a time where you think to yourself, "It's time."

Precisely. I hate that. Your body still wants to vomit, but there's nothing left to vomit. Extremely painful and annoying. I always look like I'm having an epileptic fit when I vomit, especially when there's nothing to vomit.
