I've done some quick research and according to past BB series, I'll be pretty worried if all the advertising dosent start soon:

We get the eye around 20 or so days before the Launch
So that means we might get it some time next week or next Thursday if the Launch is supposedly on the 10th of August

The website and graphics usually appear 10 days before the launch which would mean website could launch 1st of August

The Ariel shots are also released about 20 or so days before the launch

Eye flashes/Adverts we usually get these about 20 days or so before the launch so that would mean next week

We usually get house pictures 5-7 days before the Launch so that would be we could get out house pics from when the month of August hits

So looks like we should be getting some solid Big Brother info next week

No wonder the house was such a mess looking like this 2 weeks before launch

No, you're going off of what C4 did, this is a completely different channel

They don't have to release anything until launch night if they didn't want to

Channel 5 have had significantly less time to plan this series so the fact they are little behind can be forgiven in my opinion.

I think that in some form Channel 5 will follow the way Channel 4 advertised but they will make it their own

if i remeber summer house plans are only signed off during the january big brother's, infact plans for the summer show only start a few months before it starts so channel5 have had alot of time to think about things.

They aren't actually behind in anything yet (if its following the C4 release dates) we're all just too impatient

This, that's defiantly what I've been thinking :thumbs2:

Yea but you are forgetting they have a lot more to organise. They needed to figure out timing slots, live feed decisions, presenter/s, celebs and non-celebs in one go. All of them were a given for channel 4 every summer where as channel 5 need to start from scratch and also get to know all endemol staff involved.

Late auditions, building a new house, and 30 porta cabins, thats the only extra pressure that been put onto channel5, you forgot most of the endemol minions will still be there from channel4 just a few new staff like task producers an digital producers still the same team just a change of those at the top really..:conf:

The series doesn't start on the 10th, so we'll probably get the eye the Thursday or Friday after next.

There's a new ITV1 reality show starting next Monday and the information has only been sent out today (embargoed for midnight tonight).

And that's a brand new show, not the 12th series of one that's been around for a decade.

They won't release much until a week or two before it starts, which - if on the 18th or so - won't be until very late July/late August.

They won't leave it till 2 weeks before but we won't get anything earlier than 3 and a half weeks to go, which is when we usually start getting stuff.
