I hope Susan too , I've gone off Helen lately, she seems to have been just lucky to win as much as she did. And Jim isn't that likable, also Tom is an idiot.

I think that its anybodies game now.

Their previous performances will only count a bit toward his decision, the main business idea will be the main reason he picks his winner. Afterall he's narrowed them down to four based on their abilities already. I think Tom and Suzie stand a good chance, having already run business themselve. Helen needs to keep her mind clear and focused if she wants to win. I really don't see Jim winning.

In last nights programme, despite the awful error by Jim of calculation to professional people as to the simple multiplication of 60 times 7.

Lord Sugar largely ignored that massive error and also in his final summing up, didn't really slate Jim, only saying ''Jim.I like you,you are in the final''.

I will go with Jim still, but I can see Susan getting the post.

Hoping Susan, i don't think she has been given a fair chance by the other candidates, they seem to have shut her down alot.

Think Helen will win,

Tom is useless, as good his intentions are and Jim is the biggest bull******* i have ever seen

I want it to be Susan, and I think she knows how to speak in a way that makes her seem like she knows more than she actually does which I think could carry her to the final two, but I do not believe she has much substance in what she says from a business perspective which is why I think Helen will win in the end.

I don't buy into this at all - everyone's expecting some kind of rebellion every time the team leader's made a bit of a bad decision. If he went through week after week of saying I THINK THIS IS A BAD IDEA, I REFUSE TO TAKE PART, he'd have fallen weeks ago. If anything it says a lot more about the fired candidates who failed to spot what he spotted.

I just see no reason to hate someone who, in a lineup of 16 mostly self-obsessed senseless conceited arseholes, is nice, friendly, a bit shy and intelligent.

DrunkerThanMoses

Cos I hate nice people on this show. The bitchier, nastier and more backstabbing, the better.

I don't really care who is the better candidate, I just like watching them fail and blame each other, although I still think Susan/Helen are better than Tom.

I would like Tom to win.

LS might have grumped about him all through the show but he still hasn't got rid of him - he's got a soft spot for inventors - plus: Tom's instincts have been spot on many times - because he is quieter in nature, he was unable to voice his opinions and thoughts to others who loud pains in the arses. That doesn't make him any less suitable to be considered a winner by LS - and he clearly thinks the same, because he has kept Tom in the finals.

This isn't some silly show with some money and short term media fame being thrown at the winner, in the same way as BB and its winner for example.

You've clarified that you don't really care for the ethos of the show and watch it only to see people failing and blaming each other - which in all fairness: it a completel valid point. it IS a tv show regardless, it remains a show designed to capture viewers and this slant of the show, is one that will appeal to a certain type of viewer.

The more serious side of the show: it's is about real life in the the business world and for career minded adults, this is the opportunity of a lifetime that very few people get the chance of.

In the business world, people who are bitchy, nasty and backstabbing tend to have their gases put on a peep very quickly these days - not least because they are incredibly disruptive to a workforce, are seen as, (and tend to be), bullies and aggressors, add to that, the financial impact on employee turnover due to having such nasty, bitchy and backstabbing types in the workplace.

Whilst that element may help make for a good TV, it does absolutely nothing for good business or employee moral. Which given the nature of the show, the nature of the its more serious side, is actually humorously ironic - The Apprentice being both!

Shaun

I don't think this series has been very good for entertainingly bitchy/horrible contestants (like in the past where we've had Jenny, Katie) or genuine oddballs (Lucinda, Raef, Lorraine), so I've gone for the nicest people LOL

The only really horrible people this year I think have been Melody, Zoe and Gavin.

I hope: Tom

I think: Helen or Susan.

I really don't want Helen to win just for the simple fact I can't stand her and she's overrated IMO, can think of better candidates from other series.

Lewis.
17-07-2011, 12:45 PM
The only way that Helen wont win is if Alan pulls the 'too robotic' card on her. Other than that he can't argue against the fact that she's the best candidate there. He might hire Susie, and I think Nick and Karen also like Susie a lot so will probably put in a good word for her, I can't see her doing too badly in the interviews either. Jim talks a lot of bullsh*t and I think is he was looking for a salesperson then Jim would be perfect, otherwise I just don't think he's up to the job of being Alans business partner. As inventive as Tom is, I just don't sense that he has an eye for business so I don't think he'll be hired. Reckon it will be a close one though.

Helen's been portrayed as the perfect one so far, she's had this record in tasks but got a bit lucky because the team she was on won and it wasn't all down to her as some made out.

Maybe Helen's business plan will show a few flaws to Lord Sugar? She seems a bit smug now too but no doubt she has the ability.

He'll probably question the fact that she is also basically a hyped up PA, that's basically what an executive assistant is. But as you said, she's undoubtedly got the ability and brains to succeed.

I genuinely think it will be between Jim & Helen, Helen because it's hard to find something to criticise her about over the whole series apart from maybe the task a couple of weeks ago, she actually seems a bit stuck up and bitchy but she's intelligent and articulate and knows what she's doing. With Jim, I think he'll do well in the interviews because he talks a hell of a lot and even if some of it is crap I don't think he'll be intimidated by the interviewers and he won't struggle for words while they're ripping it into him. There's been a couple of tasks where he's performed really well too.

He's got more chance than Tom who's definitely the weakest candidate (although I do like him) and I just can't see Susan being hired she's just too.. annoying, I don't think he'll want to work with her

Shaun
17-07-2011, 03:39 PM
There's zero chance Jim will make it - Alan has made it clear in the clips advertising tonight's show that he talks about "bull****" a lot, and I can't see that being Susan or Tom (although we haven't seen enough of Helen, so POSSIBLY her) and Jim's been called out in the past for it.

InOne

Can see it being between Helen and Susan. Susan looking the unlikely underdog and then Helen winning it. Jim pisses him off too much I think. And Tom... lol

Helen will win, I dont think Alan could stick Susie ,Tom or chocolate boy.

Joe.
17-07-2011, 04:40 PM
Helen- She's been made out to be Miss. Perfect for the whole series, however I don't think it's all been down to her and she's maybe been a bit lucky. She's the obvious winner tonight- in fact I'd go as far as to say I think she already has it in the bag.

Tom- Tom is a nice chap but has been on the losing team so many times and really don't think he needs to be in the final when people like Melody have already been kicked out.

Jim- Was the favourite to win at the start, but look how it's turned. I dislike Jim quite a lot- he's extremely annoying, controlling and has a very Jedi stare. I think he does bull**** a lot and hopefully tonight he will be out first, from the looks of the adverts and trailers I believe this is true.

Susan- She is my favourite, the public have a love/hate thing with her but I think she has really proven herself and has been on a big journey over the weeks, out of all of the finalists I think she would be the most grateful and beneficial from winning the Apprentice, she's a real worthy winner and I'd love to see her win!

Want- 1.Susan>2.Helen>3.Tom>4.Jim
Think- 1. Helen>2.Susan>3. Tom>4. Jim
