I'm ashamed to say I don't really know too much about this band, can anyone recommend any songs by them?
Love this though, also the irony of the video

Just been listening to a greatest hits CD of them after reading you first post, I quite like them, 'You really got me', 'All day and all of the night', 'Waterloo sunset', 'See my friend', 'Days','Lola',So tired of Waiting' and 'Dead end street' all are good songs.
Saw Ray Davies last year at glasto! Was only a couple of days after Pete Quaife had died aswell :(

The Oasis video "The Importance Of Being Idle" was inspired by something by The Kinks, does anyone know what that was?

if Im not mistaken Ed Sheeran starred at GLasto that year
which was a travesty ... the great Ray Davies should have ended the show
with some of the greatest songs ever written !
