Not necessarily the film you think that is the best one ever made, but the one that is your favourite.

Mine is between:

American Psycho

Shawshank Redemption. Gotta leave it a month or two after watching it though to fully appreciate the emotion.

Impossible to choose just one....

I like virtually anything with Adam Sandler in, I love him.

Favourite film and most recently seen is Bridesmaids - genius and sooo funny. Going to see Harry Potter Wednesday night.

You should watch Punch Drunk Love and Reign Over Me if you haven't seen them yet and like Adam Sandler. Much better than his 'funny' films imo, his acting in both are amazing :worship:

Ah fair enough, I don't find him funny at all really but think he's a great actor when he isn't meant to be funny  Reign Over Me is better than PDL though, I have no shame in admitting it made me tear up

Funny People was the nail in Sandler's long under construction coffin. One of the genuinly worst, overlong pieces of garbage I have ever witnessed.

Judd Apatow should stick to hillarious, completely original stuff involving a stoned Seth Rogen talking about dicks.

Very true Niamh, very true. I laughed till I cried at In Bruges.... my sis says if I ever recommend a film to her again, she'll "****ing kill me"

Yeah, I agree with you about Funny People actually, I didn't like that at all. Grown Ups was good though and that's a more recent one.

The one good thing about Funny People is all the bits involving Alexander Godunov basically playing Karl from Die Hard

In Bruges is absoloutely terrific.
