For discussions of subjects, achievements and the future (perhaps even a 'Future Plans' sub-forum?) etc.

lostalex suggested it in Lewis.' thread about careers, thought Id make a thread so it got attention :spin:

I mean we're in need of a Technology forum alot more than anything else, Video Games need their own little sub-forum and not tied in with silly Films, I could think of alot of topics that would be alot more helpful to have as a Sub-Forum than Student Talk.

Literally in all honestly, and I expect to be attacked for saying this; A Real World Forum would generate more discussion and posts than a forum dedicated to Students.

I see where you're coming from though, it'd be good to have a place to put all the threads about Exams and Qualifications and all those kind of topics in - maybe a simple thread would be better?

Then again; if I had just achieved something amazing academically, like really fantastic - I'd probably be too excited to go into some silly little thread to write about it because I'd want everyone to know and stuff like that, I'm probably not the only one either to be honest.

A Real World forum and a video games forum are terrible ideas too. Video games are just fine thrown in with TV. It's mainly just Chewy making threads anyway.

I love the way the OP asks about a specific idea and it gets completely rail roaded in favour of things that are totally unrelated to what they suggested.
