They are paired with people they know and get along with and so can feel they can trust. The newbies never had that advantage. So don't talk about 'fairness' with this game, it never exists in BB anyway.

Well with the target that comes on the veterans' backs it's not too unfair.

I think it's unfair. These pairs that came in will stick together whereas the newbies will sell each other out because they don't even know each other.
The PoV is bull**** too because with newbies wanting the Golden key it means that they throw it and **** a fellow newbie over, meaning the newbies have pretty much no chance.
Ugh, this season had so much promise :(

Then again, I'm shockingly biased. :p

The returners wouldn't get themselves nominated and get their partner out though to get a golden key though, would they? We've already seen it happen this week where both threw it to get a key whereas say Jeff and Jordan or Brendan and Rachel would've fought like hell for it.
I am biased to my favourites, but I don't see what's wrong about my statement.

But we've also seen it where Dominic won the PoV.

There's a target on everyone's backs. The fact is they know each other's partners and the newbies don't. Add to the fact they have played BB before.
This mixture of veterans and newbies wouldn't be tried in the British version because of the public vote. Just like with this series it's obvious the public would side with who they have supported before and few would support the new ones.

Because Adam and Dominic were in the same boat, I don't think it would've happened had it been Shelly and Cassi up or maybe even Kalia and Lawon up at the the time.

There's a target on everyone's backs, you've got to be ****ing kidding me. If you're trying to say that the newbies have targets anywhere near as big as the veterans have targets, you have no ****ing clue about how the game works. And you really don't know what the public thinks of these people if you think that Brendon and Rachel would be kept over Cassi, Dominic, Shelly, Lawon, or even Adam.

It's still a ridiculous claim that PoV is pointless just because Keith and Porsche threw it. I get that you like the newbies and you're trying to find reasons why they're screwed over, but being a veteran and being a newbie both have advantages and disadvantages that pretty much cancel each other out.

I don't think just Keith and Porsche would throw it though :p Shelly may have thrown it to get Cassi out and the same for Kalia with Lawon. At least with the vets they're one cohesive unit whereas you could tell that the newbies would be a cluster**** trying to save their own asses.
The vets are as likely to target the newbies as the newbies would be to target the vets at the beginning of the game, I agree but a newbie would be much more likely to go with the veterans than a veteran leaving their partner/alliance to join the newbies because the newbies don't have a real connection to the fellow newbies. If the newbie couples knew each other beforehand maybe I'd think it was different but as they have no emotional commitment... I'm babbling and I don't know if that makes any sense. I'll go with that anyway. :p

I think any advantage the Vet's had by having a partner they know, is wiped out by the fact that the Noobies had superior numbers, and also obviously Vet's come in a with a bigger target on their back.
Also, the Noobies have the advantage of having seen them play the game before, so know their style of gameplay and strategies.
I don't think it's unfair at all and if there is a disadvantage i think the Vet's had the bigger disadvantage.

It's always a big advantage to be on BB with someone you know, the challenge is far less as you are not on your own. That's why people rightly complained in the 8th series of the British version with the twins.

ffs any advantage that the veterans have is canceled out with the disadvantages that they have get over it.

I dont think its unfair. Its their fault for being idiots And, the first weeek, to me showed, that the 2 idiots off the newbees, were Porshia, Kailee, and shelley. Everyone else understood, that the best thing to do, was to keep the neewbees united. These other 3 dumbasses, messed it all up. Especially Kaille and Shelly. Doesnt make any sense, why they voted how they did. What do they think that they are now in the in group. LOL! They will get dispensed, as soon as possible. But there are a few smart ones in the newbees, and if they play their cards right, they can get out of it. Cassie and Dominic are pretty clued on. But also Adam, who plays the fool, but I think he is actually a good player. Lawon is no dummy either.
If Lawon, Dominic, Cassie and Adam, get thier act together, They can pull something out. Danielle is also the only veteran without her pair. She is the odd one out from the vets. so she will need help from the newbees, if she is smart. PUll her in, and they can dupe some people.
I wish the newbbes luck, because I am rooting for them. BUt I dont think it was unfair. The veterans,w ere down with numbers, and the newbees, didtn know each other. SO BOTH group came in with a disadvantage. Either one can prevail at this point. The only thing the newbees have to do, is figure out who their weak links are (kalie and Shelly). ONce they do, they can play a better game.

Being slightly down in numbers actually helped the veterans, it helped them pull together even more. And they put some people back in who tend to be very good at winning tasks anyway.
