Someone on here said they work with bb producers and it's a male presenter and MrMarky says "Also ..... Someone is back - and they knew month's ago".
Could Dermot be back? Let's hope!!!

Because he gets paid a million times more to present the UK version of the X Factor perhaps?

Remember he reffered to a contestant on the X factor as "Housemate" lol
I think it will be George Lamb:joker:

He has the X Factor now, and that other show on ITV1. Why would he need to do Big Brother again? Doesn't make sense

I wouldn't mind Dermot as presenter, I do think it should be a man for a change this time round
I think it will be George Lamb:joker:
If it is Total Big Brother will close and I will have to lie on train tracks
Joke by the way. But seriously, I detest George Lamb. To me, I always got the impression he was only doing it for the money and work, than because he likes the programme.

No chance for Dermot O'Leary.
Never happening but I'd love to see George Lamb as the presenter, he just seemed like he didn't give a toss which made him very amusing in my eyes.

Dermot is viewed by 16 million people per week on one of the UK's biggest television stations all through the Autumn, why would he move back to Big Brother which will get about 2 million people viewing?
He has to think about his career here and I think I know what he'd choose if he had to.

This. Makes absolutely no sense why he would do it.
Dermot is already involved in X Factor 2011 and it's being broadcast within weeks so we can rule him out.
More likely to be George Lamb, if it is even true that someone from BB's past is returning. Or this info could even be a red herring. (Is there even a reliable source).

If we had to have a male presenter I think he would be best but I think the chances are unlikely.

Yes if you class MrMarky as a reliable source.
No if you don't class MrMarky as a reliable source.
I shall wait for an actual source before I get on that train track ;)

I always found George Lamb to be bearable presenting Celebrity Scissorhands, but he was awful on BBLB. Perhaps because the latter gave him too much freedom and airtime to say and do what he liked, than a scripted gig like the main show does. Either way, I wouldn't welcome him back.

yeah, dermots already started on xfactor and that marriage ref thing, both of which run well into autumn/winter.. with xfactor having live shows that run into december.

He said "someone" is back - Could mean a number of people including Davina, Emma or a former housemate.
Why no chance?
I hope Dermot is back.
Because it would be such a step backwards for his career that he may as well put out a contract to have someone nail his agents balls to a railroad track.

BB - Fridays
X Factor - Saturdays, Sundays
The Marriage Ref - Whenever they decide to film it
He could do all three.

Will they let him do it on two different channels?

No way would Dermot do it at this point in his career. Never say never though.
X Factor isn't just filmed on Saturdays, they film Thursdays and Fridays too.

And doesn't he have to be there to do interviews during the week?

It would be too demanding to keep up with Big Brother and X-Factor.

Exactly. That was the very reason he left BBLB, because he couldn't do both!

Might be demanding but I'm pretty sure if you're with ITV you can't just jump ship and present on another network too.

O'dreary has no personality, no charisma. He is wooden and bland. Stay away O'dreary!
