For this task you will all be working together as one big team, and aiming to increase the Live Topic's post count from 2,535 to 5,535 by 6pm on Thursday.

Outcome

If the target is reached the Top 5 contributors between now and the deadline will be immune from the Next Elimination, if the target is not reached every contestant (apart from Iceman and Josy) will face a Triple Elimination on Thursday night.

The task ends at 6PM Wednesday Night.

Now that the deadline has already been beaten :suspect: And there is still 24 hours left of the task, for every new milestone reached (i.e 6000, 7000, 8000) there will be an extra place added onto the people who will be immune from the next Elimination. So, for example, currently only the top 5 posters are immune, but if 6000 is reached it will be the top 6, and so on.

Also, the person who gets the milestone post will get a reward once the task is over with, but they don't find out what it is until the task has ended.

I am so frustrated with this task I tried so hard last night to post and had so much trouble. Nearly every post I typed wouldnt worl, i kept getting shot back to page one of the thread. Think I managed about 5 posts all night! But never mind I thought as I re read Lockes op for this thread, it says that "If the target is reached, the top 5 contributors between NOW AND THE DEADLINE will be immune", so I can get on a computer tomorrow, put some serious time in and get my post count up.Now I see that apparently once target is reached, task is over????? And seeing as we are now approx 700 away the target will be reached before I can properly have a try.Arghhhhh. Even set my alarm for various daft o clocks through the night but could get posts on......

We've decided to bring this forward and have it end at 6pm tonight instead so we can move on with other things we've got set up.

I got this task wrong. I thought it was whoever contributed the most in the 3000 extra posts that were needed e.g. if somebody posted 300 posts they had 10% contribution.. if somebody posted 600 posts they had a 20% contribution.. etc.

I'm not complaining mind! I'm happy to be immune LOL
