Man of Steel (2013 Superman revival)

No trailers or even teaser posters yet, but it's basically the revamp of Superman after the last one failed to impress. It's got Zac Snyder (300, Watchmen), Chris Nolan (The Dark Knight, Inception) and David S. Goyer (wrote The Dark Knight, the Blade trilogy) as the production team.

As for the acting talent, Amy Adams (Enchanted, The Fighter) will play Lois Lane, Henry Cavill (quite unknown... was in Stardust) as Superman. Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue and Henry Lennix also feature - and Russell Crowe is negotiating.

Storywise they're ignoring Lex Luthor this time :laugh: General Zod and Faora are those featuring.

I still havent watched Superman returns yet

Mostly because the actor chosen looked lame. But Im a big fan of Henry Cavill and think he will really give the role some credibility and charisma.

I don't think it was terrible (Superman Returns), but as the main comic it really deserves to be better than average.

To be fair, Superman does need to be remade as a movie franchise, seeing as Returns was a failiure and the last film before that was a Christopher Reeves one

Man of steel is a silly title, just like the Amazing Spiderman and the Incredible Hulk (I know they are comic book titles but they still sound silly)

The trailer shows promise. I'm glad they are spending time on growing up too. It needed a proper reboot after the last ****e, and superman 3 before it.

It's also good that FX is at a level to do it justice. I was watching 2 over the weekend on channel 5. The flying looks horrible.

Fantastic movie.

Go see it guys. There is ton of action. Its nothing like the other superman movies.
