Really like this song. Always enjoyed Demi's music, she's probably the only Disney alum who can actually sing well without the need for autotune. This song is rather stripped back and it was recorded just before Demi started treatment for her eating disorder. Performed well in America, was #1 on iTunes for a few days and debuted at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 last Thursday.

She's worked with Rock Mafia, Timbaland (who's wanted to record with Demi for years), Ryan Tedder and Kara DioGuardio to name a few and she's said in an interview that this album will be more pop than her previous albums.

Really looking forward to this album and I haven't been excited about many at all this year, so I'm hoping it won't disappoint.

I love it, it shows off her vocals, and you can feel the emotion and rawness because it was done just before she went into rehab, it reminds me of early Kelly Clarkson material.

can't wait to hear "All Night Long", this Timbaland collaboration has been talked about for aaages so I'm hoping it'll be really good. "You're My Only Shorty" is such a cringeworthy song title, I hope the song itself will be better. Aston Merrygold from JLS is credited as a writer on "Hold Up" too, got a feeling it'll be bad. I wish Iyaz and Jason Derulo weren't featuring on songs as well. :(

Yeah, it was sort of shocking at the time because she had always been portayed as the cleanest cut Disney girl, but she had been self harming herself for a while. :( It's good that she's so open about it though because it will probably spur the people going through the same issues to get treatment.

Her first two albums are good, they have a pop/soft rock feel to them, that was her style at the time but this upcoming third album is much more pop and R&B.

edit: Unbroken has leaked, I won't be listening to it until Tuesday but you should be able to find a link online pretty easily. Only track I've listened to is Fix a Heart and it's just beautiful, I can see it being my favorite Demi song ever. :love: Listen here:

Finally got my copy today, another great album from Demi. :worship: Probably prefer Here We Go Again a little more but it's still consistently great and much better than all the other Disney alum's albums. Fix a Heart still my favorite track, I love the rawness of it and the effects they add to her voice are pretty cool. It has to be a single at some point. The title track Unbroken and Lightweight are both amazing too. All the ballads are good even though I would have liked one or two more upbeat songs. I can see why Who's That Boy is the second single, it has a real radio friendly feel to it, I hope it does well.

It debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 this week, with sales of 96,000. Not as good as HWGA's debut but still good figures.

Such a good album. "Unbroken" and "Fix a Heart" are my two faves but I love the Xtina esque ad libs in "In Real Life", I also love how unautotuned the album is, it showcases her amazing voice. She's in a different league vocally to Selena and Miley.

Skyscraper is being used as the background music for a trailer of BBC One's new drama "Prisoners Wives". :D I think it's getting a UK release soon and hopefully she will do lots of promo here.

Skyscraper is finally getting UK airplay. It's the VIP Track of the week on all the music channels and Radio 1 have playlisted it. I think it's gunna go top 10 when it's released next month. :D

Skyscraper was finally released in the UK at midnight and it's already 38 on iTunes. I really hope it can go top ten, I would love for it to beat that God awful new Dappy single.

Skyscraper peaked at 32 over here, becoming her highest charting single to date in the UK. Impressive considering she did no promo.

also Demi's personal documentary about her issues with bulimia and self harming "Stay Strong" airs next Tuesday on MTV UK. It's well worth a watch.
