Leona Lewis
LOL for some reason, completely unknown to me, I thought you might vote LL

Leona I'd say, she still has a large fanbase from her time on X Factor.

I voted the Saturdays as they are quite prominent on the scene anyway at the moment, but it's very hard to say. They are all good acts, and sometimes being off the scene for a while works equally effectively. It would be nice to see Leona back at the top :)

I think they will all be top 5, well Pixie, Leona & The Saturdays will definately be, as will the previous No.1, Snow Patrol will chart the lowest i think
Snow Patrol don't fare too well in the charts. Leona Lewis has been out of action for a while and has no X Factor to boost sales so I expect around #5 for her; The Saturdays will reach the lower end of the top 10 and Pixie Lott'll probably chart around #7/8. So Leona will do the best I think, but none of them will hit #1.
They are all terrible[/Stu].

In all seriousness though I think Beyoncé has a good chance of nabbing #1 with Best Thing I Never Had.

I think it'll be Pixie, Leona didn't get #1 with Happy and she even performed it on XF that year, she won't be able to do that in September

No offence to Shaun, but seriously MM&I what the ****.
Anyway, Better In Time is still my favourite Leona song by far.

Run, Bleeding Love, Collide, Outta My Head, I Got You, Scene Of The Crime, Better In Time, Can't Breathe & Happy are her best.

My predictions
#1 Leona
#3 Pixie
#6 The Saturdays
#16 Snow Patrol
CharlieO
23-07-2011, 02:44 PM
Leona will not make number 1 because not everyone is crazy over her like MM&I is.
To be honest I don't think any of them are up to number 1 standard but I'd like it to be Pixie.

23-07-2011, 02:45 PM
I'm convinced Example will get #1 for 2 weeks. His song isn't THAT good but he's very popular and 2 weeks seems to be a long time at #1 now

I reckon it'll be the Saturdays. Leona can't sell anything without the X Factor, Snow Patrol's main sales come from their albums and Pixie Lott has a good chance but I think Saturday's single has the best shot of appealing to the kinds of people that actually buy singles.

But I think it would probably go: Saturdays > LL > Pixie > SP

I honestly think they peaked with the Eyes Open singles  everything they've released since has charted pretty badly
Snow Patrol just never do well on singles sales, they're more of an album band. I was shocked to discover Signal Fire was their highest charting single at #4, I'd put that down to it being on the Spiderman soundtrack more than anything. The song's not all that great either tbh, it's the best lyrically IMO but it's a bit boring. The Saturdays have the strongest tune IMO but again, the lyrics are appalling and people didn't bother with the weird wall of noise that was Notorious so I can't imagine them bothering with this either, but I could be wrong.

yeah I forget about it often (because it's not on an album, I guess). Surprised Chasing Cars wasn't the highest, since I think it was the biggest selling single that year?

edit: #5
I think Chasing Cars was more along the lines of it featured somewhere like X Factor or BGT, that kind of thing, where people were reminded of it and bought it in droves, other people would see it on iTunes etc and the cycle continued, it always seemed to be floating around the charts...
Re: Chasing Cars... from Wikipedia: As of March 2011, the single has spent 100 weeks on the official UK Top 75 Singles Chart and 145 on the Top 100[5] and has sold 505,000 copies in the UK, despite missing the Top 5.[6]

I would say of those likely Leona Lewis, just.
Leona. She needs a number one with this comeback single. And she will have the X Factor live performance to rely on.

Leona is 5 with Collide
Pixie is 6 with All About Tonight
Gonna be Leona vs Pixie, but I really want saturdays to have a #1, just not with that awful song so I hope it is Pixie.

Gonna be so buzzed if Leona Lewis charts at #5 and Snow Patrol don't make the top 10. ~knows everything~
Still convinced The Saturdays won't ever get a number one single. Pixie's song is pretty rubbish too but it's better rubbish than All Fired Up.
