its been a case in point over he years that the houses have suffered over the length of the series run
But which held up and which suffered badly
The BB9 house to me was beautifully designed, it never ever looked cluttered or messy or dull and looked beautiful till the very last episode
the BB7 HOUSE on the other hand was badly designed! The entrance to the garden was pushed so far back in the structure that it created long summer shadows that, coupled with the yellow dead grass made the house look, messy, dull and lifeless after about week 5

I always liked the BB3 house the best because housemates could use the kitchen bin as a toilet.

BB5 house held up well apart from one of the dildos falling off the wall in the first week
I think that the BB9 house was definatly the best to stand the test of time it was brilliantly designed
The BB7 Garden was worse- but then they didnt have astro-turf so the grass was yellow by the end of the series after a drought.

The BB9 house was crap imo. It was far to dark, the wood on the sticky-out walls gave it a dated 70's feel. Both bedrooms and the bathroom were tacky and some of the colour combinations/wall cladding was just gaudy. Although it did hold out until the end without looking to shabby.
The BB10 house probably lasted the longest with the least wear and tear at the end. BB11 did well up until the flood at the end. In general the houses all seem to look tired and dirty towards the end of a series.

I personally thought BB4 house did well. Shame the series was hideous

BB7 was definitely the worst, not just the garden but those leather pads on the diary room door and front door fell off.
having said that didn't thew BB6 loft almost kill a few housemates half way through and they then had to block it off for the rest of the series

The BB10 House. Hated It. I looked really run-down by the Final. Also the BB11 House. If they didn't have a flood it would have lasted. I think the BB7 House was fine, until the middle of the series where it looked like everything was everywhere.

Plus in BB7 Pete and Glyn sort of destroyed the living area on the final night, they took all the sofas up and turned them upside down and everything, so by the time Pete left, the house looked thoroughly worn to say the least!

Nikki breaking the front door was hilarious
Big Brother: "Nikki you are forbidden from breaking the front door"
Nikki: "I put my FOOT on the wall and it OPENED you have not SECURED that door"

I'd say the BB2 house because of the lack of carpets. Tiles and wooden flooring is much easier to keep clean. Plus Big Brother was always badass the second the Housemates thought about moving fixtures and fittings or 'decorating' the walls. :D

no it was in the house next door when she actually broke the lock of the front door because she heard glyn spassing out in the diary room

Yes, it was a nice house and the secret room for the boozer was a bonus.

Oh was that when Glyn climbed on the roof to see the HND and he was getting told off and Nikki heard him and listened through the door and she broke it and Glyn screamed "grace is that you".I remember watching that night really clearly,I also had a curry that night

I think some people are confused about "stood the test of time" as a good design or whether it fell to bits by the end.
BB9 looked awful by the end. The bright colours in the garden kept it looking fresh and summery but the living area couches and bedrooms looked really dirty and smelly, as did BB8's.
I think BB3, 4 and BB6 are the only houses I can think of that weren't completely covered in **** by the end of the series or falling down.

To be fair, to have 20 odd people living in one house for 3 months.. I'm surprised they all come out as good as they do by the final week. I think BB11 did well but the housemates were a messy bunch.
