Band Names!

Hey guys,

Just wanted your quick opinion on something: I'm in a band with two friends, and we need a band name. We are stuck between two choices, and I would really appreciate your opinion!

If you don't like either one then that's fine, but we like them both so it's definitely going to be between them.

They are Zellie and Rumori.

Which one strikes you as the better name?

Rumori is my favourite out of the two, Zellie sounds very much like it's meant to be a solo act. Good luck man!

Certainly Rumori but they are both pretty awful. They sound like brand names for some Italian confectionary company or lazy spyware search engine or something.

I think Rumori will appeal more worldwide so I vote Rumori.

Thanks for the votes so far. It's a 3-person band, vocals piano and guitar, it's not like a really serious mega thing, but we're still a practising ensemble so we thought we'd better have a name for the band for our facebook page, CD, etc.

For the record I prefer Rumori too but the singer prefers Zellie and the guitarist is indifferent... so that's why we need some outside opinions...

You should have meaning in your band name, not some random generated text. That way if you make it big you have an interesting story to tell when people ask you how you got your band name.
