will spoted DigitalSid its hard to tell how long it will be as some poster are saying 4 weeks and some are saying 2 weeks what do you think?

That was 10 years ago and was a stint for comic relief not a full blown series.

This is supposed to be Celebrity Big Brother 8 not a little blip before the main show starts.

Hardly worth having.

Why pay all that money for celebs when we have no chance to get to know them.

It should be 3 weeks IMO, a shorter series should get them some better name celebs.

I know was just saying. Personally I'm not interested in CBB this year so the length doesn't bother me, but the best length for CBB is 3 weeks.

They're only doing CBB first because it's quicker to organise and because they've paid loads for the rights.

Wasn't there a rumour that channel 5 were keeping the length flexible (possibly by two weeks) depending on it's success?? That would explain the 2/4 week difference of opinions.

Personally, I think 3 weeks is best. Short enough to get good celebs, long enough to get to know them.

It does. CBB is shorter, gets higher ratings and doesn't take as long to organise as BB so rather than wait till September and start with BB they're doing a quick CBB.

To me it just seems pointless, to only have a 2 week CBB series, we won't get to know people properly, ideally it should be a 3 week series....IMO

CBB shouldn't happen this year, two 4 week length series next year should be done instead like this:

All of Jan: CBB
All of May/June/July: BB
All of October: CBB

Then reverting back to the regular schedule.

There should not be 3 series in one year its just gonna kill it off before its even begun.

Big Brother needs to be an EVENT that people wait all year for.

I don't mind how long it is, with celebrities most people know who they are anyway already.

However I agree with daniel-lewis-1985, a minimum 3 weeks but preferably 4 would be a smarter move.
