Last year we saw MeMyselfandI take down GypsyGoth in the final quiz to discover that Marc was indeed The Mole.

This year we see MeMyselfandI once again in the final, this time with KG and DrunkerThanMoses joining him. After 13 episodes, 13 fallen players, many challenges and many sly and bold moves from all 3 finalists, we have reached the end.

Who is The Winner? Who is The final victim? And who is The Mole?

Episode 14: The Final and Reunion

Good evening and welcome to The Mole 4 final. It's been a tough journey for all 3 of our finalists, but shortly we will be revealing who The Mole is and who has won the game.

We will also take a look at each episode and discover who scored what and who suspected who. I'll also reveal a few clues that were in place to the identity of The Mole...

Episode 1: sweetsophiefan's Execution



We saw all 16 of our contestants forced straight into having to work together and search the forum for past players of the game. KG within minutes had found the first player, which happened to be me who was holding the first exemption of the game. The players managed to locate most of the answers, but failed to find 3 of them. A lot of suspicion was cast upon many players as Niall, ‘Conor and happyland all sent answers that were wrong or incomplete, a few players never sent an answer and a sneaky move from Corkie meant that he snatched the exemption right from under everyone’s nose.

A very mixed bag of doubt was cast across many players in the first episode with 10 players being suspected as The Mole. InOne was the only player to initially suspect KG as being The Mole, whilst sweetsophie fan was way off track suspecting GypsyGoth and became the first player executed.

Episode 2: Niall's Execution



This episode was Catch-22 and the players had to play a game of catch for 22 hours. We saw DrunkerThanMoses and Shaun lead the group to the first victory of the season after a galliant effort from both of them. The challenge had its close calls however as happyland went offline just as she was thrown the ball, DrunkerThanMoses and CharlieO dropped the ball Shaun threw at them as they fell asleep and MeMyselfandI was (unknowingly to the group) offered a reward as he happened to be the player holding the ball 2 hours into the game, which won him an exemption and the group an extra drop.
Smithy and DrunkerThanMoses also earnt themselves exemptions in this episode, leaving just 11 of them to fight it out to stay in the game.

If Smithy had not won the exemption by being the first player to throw the ball 5 times, Niall would not have been executed as he sent in his quiz faster than Smithy. Both Corkie and MeMyselfandI were leading the scores this time around.

Again a wide spread of suspicion was amongst the group. MeMyselfandI was the lead suspect this episode as he tried to rattle the players and get them to suspect him. This lead to the downfall of Niall. MeMyselfandI on the other hand was hedging his bets between Glenn and KG and put KG down for his supect.

Episode 3: Glenn and Corkie's Execution




Hey-DJ saw the group work from a playlist of 70 songs that they had to correctly identify and order. They managed to find enough answers to succeed the challenge however foul play from several players led to it being failed.
Happyland and Smithy were neutralised by The Mole so they couldn’t win an exemption, but in the end nobody won the exemption leading into the double execution.
A few players had been responsible for the failure of this challenge, but KG had been the first to fail it as he put down the wrong artist for a song.

We saw the second tie of the season occur this episode, and this time between 4 players. Corkie and Glenn both sent their quiz after CharlieO and ‘Conor meaning they became the next players executed, which with Corkie had taken me by surprise as the previous episode he had been the top scorer.

Episode 4: Niamh's Execution

One of my favourite episodes and challenges was Bittersweet Sacrifice as this tests the players loyalty and trust. It also brings out the sly and back handed qualities of others. Each pair had an exemption, with only one in the pair being able to have it. If the group had more than 2 pairs have someone take the exemption, then the mission was failed. They failed. After point blank refusal from MeMyselfandI about how he was not turning down the exemption, the group had to rethink their strategy to pass the task. They decided that Shaun should gain an exemption whilst the rest of them turned it down. However unknown to them, DrunkerThanMoses had already decided that he wanted the exemption and had claimed it, making it 3 pairs in total who won one.

The tie at the bottom meant that Niamh, who was just a few minutes slower was executed over InOne. DrunkerThanMoses managed to score highly this episode and he formed an alliance with the only other player to suspect KG.

Episode 5: Smithy's Execution






In another episode that challenged the players trust of each other, they had to release themselves from the chain. Following on from the previous mission, a lot of trust had been lost in the group and there were debates as to who should be released in what order. As Shaun was banned for this mission, they were forced to release him first. The group were then split as to who release before the exemption part of the chain started; most of the group felt DrunkerThanMoses and MeMyselfandI should be next, whereas MeMyselfandI and DrunkerThanMoses wanted KG to be released so he couldn’t sabotage the mission. The group chose MeMyselfandI to be neutralised this episode so he couldn’t win an exemption by taking one, although he was offered the chance to earn one if the group passed the mission.
The group all managed to release themselves from the chain in time, however, ‘Conor had decided that he would take the exemption and so there for the group failed.

For the second time this season a player who held an exemption should have been executed. ‘Conor had the slower time on the quiz but Smithy, who had had a close escape before with the exact same thing, was executed.
Both MeMyselfandI and DrunkerThanMoses were both now leading the scores, with happyland not far behind.

Episode 6: 'Conor's Execution



We saw the players once again put together in random pairs, and I almost died with laughter when the number generator placed ‘Conor and MeMyselfandI together as their feud was growing with each episode.
They had to find the lowest scoring answer from lists that I provided. Most of the pairs came to an agreement without hassle, however MeMyselfandI and ‘Conor seemed to disagree with each other on nearly everything. Shaun and happyland became the lowest scoring pair and they decided that happyland would get the exemption.

KG had managed to persuade InOne (who didn’t know it) to give a few high answers, and the group lost the mission by 2 points.

We also saw a mini-task, provided kindly by Marc, which gave Shaun, happyland and KG a reward.

Episode 7: InOne's Execution




This time around the players had to reach a target post count, which started off well but soon came to a stuttering halt. GypsyGoth, CharlieO and Shaun had led the group well to start with but they soon found that without the help from everyone, this task would be failed very quickly.
As the target was not reached, nobody in the group won an exemption.

This was the first time this season a player scored zero on the quiz, whereas at the other side of the table was MeMyselfandI who was growing in strength with each episode. Karl also managed to find his feet in the game and started to climb up after a few runs of being an average scorer in the game.

Episode 8: CharlieO's Execution



This time around the group was split into 2 groups: Night Owls and Sleepy Heads. The Night owls got off to a flying start with GypsyGoth, Shaun, DrunkerThanMoses and CharlieO all keeping up with their challenge. During the 'nightmare’ hour however is when it all came unravelled for them. After mananging to post every minute for most of the hour at 4 in the morning, Shaun missed posting at 4:47, which being so close to the end, failed the mission.

The Sleepyheads, as expected, got off to a very slow start. Trying to work out the message and decipher the codes, they had to work together knowing that only one of them could possibly win an exemption.

Both Karl and KG sent in an incorrect answer as they couldn’t work out one code, but KG had worked out the final code and decided not to share this with the group and so pretended that he couldn’t work it out either meaning the group failed this challenge.

For the 3rd episode running MeMyselfandI was at the top of the score board, with happyland this week snatching 2nd place away from DrunkerThanMoses. Shaun also climbed up the in the scores. However both GypsyGoth and CharlieO took a tumble this time.

GypsyGoth for the second time (the first being episode 1) took out a player from the game, this time CharlieO. GypsyGoth however was convinced that DrunkerThanMolses and his sneaky ways were the doing of being a Mole.

Episode 9: happyland's Execution




In a mission that tested the groups observation, they had to work out the post count of the executed players. To stop them from easily doing this, I removed the threads so they had to try and discuss how many they thought each player had made in total. After a few guesses, they found themselves short by a long shot, and KG never sent in an answer.

Amazingly for a 5th week MeMyselfandI remained at the top of the scores, and this time Shaun managed to score well just behind him.
Due to happyland not submitting a quiz, she scored zero automatically. Had she kept up her run of the her quiz scores she could have been a strong contender for the final and GypsyGoth would have been executed this time around.
