No its so irritating, we really need some thunder to clear it up, I don't mind the heat so much if its sunny with it bit I hate this warm stuffy feeling.

Aha....but the downside is that very few homes in the UK have aircon - so it's a sod, especially at night time.
Scotland doesn't tend to have much of a problem as far as heat is concerned (mores the pity!!)

So, there have been variations of 15.0 degrees across the UK. Not too bad, but we rarely get temperatures above 20 degrees these days, not to talk of 8 degrees above that mark.
13 degrees Celsius is below-average for this time of year (although that doesn't surprise me, given the fact that we're talking about Scotland). 28 degrees Celsius is well above-average for this time of year. London always reaches the seldom temperatures for the UK. It holds the record, so to speak.

finally some honesty. yes summer is lovely and all that and many a memories are made in the summer but really when its so bloody youd rather go out naked but you cant because you have work and such its just a burden. personally i prefer spring. best of both. some warmth and breeze

It's been quite mild here. The sky is completely cloudy, but it's quite warm at the same time. It's not bothering me much though.

I can cope with this weather. Had the top down on the car on the way to work today, first time for aaaaages, and makes up for all the times I've slipped and skidded in on ungritted roads. It's so nice I'm seriously considering bunking off early.
