Which X Factor Judge will be make the best mentor?

Three of the four X Factor Judges are brand new this season. Who do you feel will make the best all round mentor and do their acts justice?

I think probably Gary, though in fairness to louis he's been pretty successful also, look at Jedward and JLS

Hard to tell without seeing them in action. I can imagine that Gary will be a little bit like Simon - more for the music than actually caring for the wellbeing of the acts.

I say Gary also, He will be straight with his acts, but not as harsh as Simon can be.

Interestingly, so far no-one thinks either of the laydees will make the best mentor. I think Tulisa will be similar in style to Cheryl and Kelly will be too softhearted.

Louis for me with Gary Barlow a close 2nd, Louis has a good feel for what the public will take to,a very clever and also dedicated mentor/judge too.

I don't think Tulisa will be a great mentor, she'll probably get on well with her acts and stuff but I don't think she'll do well at actually teaching them things and picking the right songs (if they're older contestants, she'll do well if they're young).

Kelly will be alright.

And Louis always picks his one act at the start that he knows have a good shot and concentrates solely on them, so he'll probably do good with 1 act again. I hope he gets a good category this year though

Haha Gary loves his new music just as much as the old stuff, you'd be suprised.

I think Gary will be the best cos he already manages his own artists, as well as being in a band and working with other artists so he knows how to handle acts and work well with them.
