FOUR thugs beat up Grace’s uncle Paul Short — as they jeered that former Miss Wales Imogen was far sexier.
Builder Paul had been to a bookies to place a bet on his niece and was heading home when the thugs cornered him in a subway in Plymouth, Devon.
Paul, 47, said “They’d been drinking. They recognised me because my photo has been in newspapers, with interviews about how I support Grace. They all had Welsh accents and were being obnoxious.
“One said something about Grace being an old slapper and that Imogen was going to win.
“I tried to walk past but one jumped on me and then they all had a go. I took quite a hiding and was left with a black eye. But I’d always stick up for Grace.”
Really sad story :(
