Look how lively and bitchy the crowd was in 2006.
Aw.
I miss these evictions, they were so big and it felt like an event - like you HAD to watch it because everyone was talking about it that day as if they were going to attend an execution.
I bet most of the people in that crowd don't even like Big Brother anymore which is kind of upsetting.
I'm seriously hoping for BB12 to re-spark Big Brother and bring back the atmosphere the golden years had.

As long as the results of the evictions are good am not too bothered. They better not even think about playing music over the crowd reaction though
Ahh brings back memories. I miss the days everyone used to watch and discuss Big Brother; friends, family and so on. It brought them all together. I wish that happened now :(

Unfortunatly after this the crowd tried to recreate their coming out chant every week for pretty much the next 5 years

The crowd generally became a mob in later years. Evictiosn were great when they could be controlled, when the crowd would be huge and loud and energetic but they'd still manage to shut up when Davina spoke to the house

The evictions were far better at that time, also so was the hard hitting eviction interviews by Davina to the evicted housemate, however everything went wrong, particularly the last 2 to 3 series.
Totally hated housemates were being told by Davina that they had been amazing and entertaining housemates, the interviews became friendly chats and extremely boring.
I'd like to see a return to the old style evictions and even more so the very critical as well as the good elements back into any eviction interviews.

Brian has said he'll be tough so here's hoping! I've seen him do interviews before that haven't pulled any punches so I think he'll be as good as his word.

I think he will be really good at it, he is ,as you say, not afraid to jump in and say his piece too. He is likely to represent the true public opinion as to interviewing far better than Davina did, especially during the last 3 series at least.
I am really looking forward to him presenting the series.
