View Full Version : I Just Bought Stu's Best Bits Song. [big deal for me]

I went into HMV last week and ordered the song that was on Stu's best bits from BB9.

And they were like 'The band is split up now so it's discontinued but we can order it for you? and I was all 'Okay.'

And then I got it today. :love:

It was my first time ever paying for a single instead of being a little rebel and downloading of YouTube.

Stu said once that buying the music at shops is alot better than downloading, quality wise and I have to agree.

But yes It just got me thinking back to BB9 when I listen to the song :love:.

And how Big Brother is responsible for my favourite song of all time.

The sad thing is though, this song completely flopped that Summer and no one bought it - and then they were planning on releasing an updated version of it - and then they ended up breaking up because no one was buying their stuff.

Yet JLS get to Number 1...

Yes :(.

In 2009 - they're Bass/Vocalist left the band and then they were all set for releasing an updated version of Meccano on the anniversary of the 2008 release - but never got to.

Which sucks I would of loved to hear it.

The version on Stu's best bits is incredible though because it's Instrumental and you can hear the whole tune.

I agree - no one ever gave them a chance, and then today at the skate park after I bought it everyone was like 'What's in the HMV bag?' and I showed them the single and they were like 'Never heard of them man. :('

It's upsetting.
