Grace Woodward has lost her job as the head stylist on The X Factor, it has been revealed.

An X Factor spokesperson confirmed to Digital Spy that the production team had decided that Woodward would not be involved in this year's live shows.

Woodward, who is currently starring on Sky Living series Next Top Model and Chick Fix, landed the role last year and divided opinion with her bold costumes and styles for the contestants.

The reality TV judge was also involved in a brief romance with eventual winner Matt Cardle.

A rep for Woodward told The Mirror: "What Grace did last year was get people talking about the fashion on the show - and she did make a style icon out of Rebecca Ferguson."

The X Factor launches on Saturday, August 20 at 8pm on ITV1.

Good she was crap. Poor Cher was getting always getting bad press for not wanting to wear what this fail was telling her.

He always looked like the least bit effort because they spent all their time shagging then had to throw something on quick.
