Brian Dowling has fired out at Cheryl Cole in a vengeance about who became the new Big Brother presenter and why.
Brian reveals that himself and former X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole, battled for the job of presenter, although, he scrapped the mark in a tough screen test.
The pair worked their magic and strutted their stuff as they presented a mock show for the producers, however, Brians’ talents of ‘walking and talking’ struck a spark with bosses.
Brian said: “They said I did the best screen test ever and I’m very good at walking and talking, which you wouldn’t think would be difficult, but it is.
“Obviously someone else they tested wasn’t very good… Cheryl Cole!”
Cheryl was recently booted off of the USA X Factor because of her hard to understand ‘Geordie’ accent proved a slump with Americans. She since revealed that it was time for her to enjoy a career change.
Celebrity Big Brother returns to our screens Thursday 18th August at 9pm on Channel 5.

“Someone said I was last choice which was not true!” he told ********. “This started for me in around April. I knew it was coming back in February but for me it started in April, they said they wanted me on board but were not sure in what capacity.

“They just knew they wanted me involved in some way. I didn’t think I was going to get the main show!”

Asked what other names were in the running, Brian didn’t mention Bit On The Side host Emma Willis, but rather named Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue.

He continued: “I was going ‘Oh god! Cheryl Cole! That bitch has taken my job!’ and then they said it wasn’t going to be her and I was like ‘Yes!’… but then she got fired from American X Factor I was like ‘Oh no, poor Cheryl!’”

Brian jokingly boasted that Cheryl had failed to walk and talk as well as him on the screen test.

Brian added: “So I’m very good at talking and walking which is really random.”
