I'm told there will be an announcement in the papers on Saturday about whether or not there is a live feed. That's all I know on this.

Would they put it in the paper if it was bad news?

I was thinking that, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

Would they put it in the paper if it was bad news?
They would if they are trying to showcase their pathetic little app.
You wouldn't of thought so but it's the star, they'll just twist it like it's something good.
Hmm guess by "the papers" they just mean the Star, wouldn't have thought any of the other papers would be carrying the story. If this is true I agree that it could mean good news but it's probably more likely a way of them giving publicity to whatever this replacement of their is going to be

They'll twist it:

Whether you like it or not, Channel 5 are in the same position C4 were. Its not viable to air 24/7 live feed on TV, because the volume of people who watch it is small.
I think the Live Feed will go online at BigBrother.com. It obviuosly has something to do with this years series because of the logo slapped across the page.
I think it be pay-to-view like last years. It was the compromise that C4 came up with because of the backlash it caused when they axed it for BB10.
I don't think Channel 5 are going to ignore that, and will probably do the same to avoid said backlash biting them in the arse.

Well I hope so. I got a freebie last year but would have coughed up the fifteen quid otherwise.

Why can't they just give us live feed?
Is it that too much trouble just to put a stream of 24 7 live feed on the internet?? Jesus!!
At the same time they can do some stupid little clips as well. For the ones who ponder and arn't bothered about live feed.
The majority of us ARE bothered though!!

Even if less than 100k were to watch live feed online this would create more viewers to the main show as we would have something to talk about and Big Brother is all about what is going on in a house 24/7.The paper annoucement is strange tho as iwould have thought a press release would have done, anyway it will be to big up the apps and clips i expect.Say goodbye to watching Big brother as we have known it

hehe fancy seeing you here!!!!:xyxwave:
they never understood one issue because Endemol totally screwed up the editing of the h/l show it became nothing more than watching how Tasks went/DR moments and nominations.
Last year proved when they put a huge bottle of bleach all over josies nasty bits trying to highlight 'reality' just wasnt going to happen. All the hm's are going to act OTT knowing unless they dont they wont even make the h.l show and be evicted first time.
they never understood the role Live update threads played in the series.sites like digital spy in Bb10 were a total ghost town threads would stay there days instead of moments when theres a feed active.
ALL the information the other sites will get will come directly from Endemol/c5 meaning that info given is the only one and will be spun how production want it out there as.With the feed it Gave everyone a chance to look at all the angles of the situation they are reporting on.
And then out comes the copywrite notices if a site puts up any footage..:joker: so really its not the Hm's under the full control of Bigbrother its the Fans.See what they want us to see,Hear what they want us to hear.

Just seen this on DS(not good news):bawling:
For immediate release -
BIG BROTHER today announces its decision to not include the twenty four hour live streaming from it's schedules or website. Whilst it is appreciated that many fans have enjoyed the streaming in the past it is no longer financially viable to sustain the streaming for the entire duration of the show's run. This decision is not without regret and as a replacement fans will enjoy twenty four hour updates via social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter and Youtube as well as all the latest news on the official Channel 5 website so fans will be able to access the latest news from wherever they are. It is clear that in recent years fans have favoured these forms of updates over the live streaming.

Also, bad news Im afraid, news on whether or not there will be a live feed has been delayed. Dont shoot the messenger pls! #bbuk

Still though, if they keep on delaying it then that must be a sign it's coming back? If it wasn't they would just tell us and then give us the details about the facebook app. I don't know, all I DO know is that i'm getting quite bored of this now, I just want them to tell us so we can get this whole thing sorted!

by saying "news coming this sunday" it sounds like they are giving us some sort of feed, because if we weren't having any feed why would they wait until sunday? surely they would just say " no live feed this series" they wouldnt build it up and have us all guessing would they?

With only 4 days until launch i would say that the chances of live feed are slim for CBB atm.i do feel the blame lies with Endomol who seem to have told Channel 5 that it was too costly and demand was low, however channel 5 are not blameless in this either. They should have known and have know how angry some of us are about live feed and should have kept to their word in April abour split cameras online feed.I dont expect to get any word tomorrow about anything on this although a press day is going on with ex housemates etc.i think we will find out in a press release/paper article but like i say live feed looks very slim for CBB imo.
