No im not settling for an inferior product ... im just grateful for channel 5 bringing big brother back ... just because there is no live feed doesnt mean that it will be no better than the normal big brother .... and even if we dont get live feed, moaning about it wont get it back if channel 5 dont want to have it ...... but what im saying is channel 5 are trying to improvise, instead of doing something they cant afford! they are trying to please fans as much as they can by giving us some sort of live feed and 'fans' like you are still not happy with it ... if they gave us full 24/7 live feed i can guarantee you and some others would nitpick just to find little things to moan about , just be grateful they have brought it back at all

Any live feed at this moment in time is welcome. They will probably look at the viewing figures for CBB and then re-asses the situation for the normal BB. A bit of LF is better then non IMO, but we have yet to hear the official news from C5 so lets keep our fingers crossed for some good news.

They should judge it on the opening night figures and then on the HLs show with or without LF. Most viewers will appear for the opening night but not having continuation with LF later will IMO spoil the show. What worries me is what viewing figures C5 accept as to those that C4 got with or without LF. I hope they want to trounce C4 and show them that they made a big mistake letting BB go.

So where we are at the moment is-

there will be a meeting later today between channel 5 and their it techs regarding streaming on their website,

but also prior to that we're also told that a Daily Star exclusive on Sunday will contain an announcement as to whether we will have live feed or not....

Ummm should be an interesting couple of days bb LIVE FEED related, but I definitely think we're getting something :D

It boils down to this. No live feed at all means BB becomes just like every other reality show and many will never truly engage with the HMs but it could do well with that audience because plenty of other show on the main channels do. The support shows become less about the show participants and more about the guests latest project often it is very clear that the guests havent even seen the show. ITV have been very successful using this basic format why shouldnt Ch5 gjve it a go. Sounds like Ch4 tried with BB10 but made a hash of it.
If they provide live feed it has a tiny audience by comparison to the highlight shows usualy less than 10 percent and I guess on paper at least the audience on twitter facebook etc is much bigger so investing there seems more logical. Live feed does give a whole new dimension to the show for those that watch it but you are always in the minority

TVGossipChat is steve lol sarah's uncle (might be not steve) but are making up the overnight stuff, thats 100% not back

both have no connection.

I've spoken to my source this morning there is no plans for over night footage on channel 5, the home-shopping programs did deals so they are kept in the slots.

however because of what happened with the campaign and pressure on facebook channel 5 are worried and yes they are speaking now with a tech team, soon as I find out more i'll post on here.

we have to plan this campaign slot perfect as at this moment lot of people think a deal is being made so might not get involved - if nothing has been announced over the weekend then we can see channel 5 are stalling for time.

With monday it will be a perfect slot as we know there just taking the pee' or we could have confirmation it has been totally binned - this news I'm sure will send twitter into meltdown and a real war start, the campaign could attack twitter & facebook simultaneously

Channel 5 are desperate and will do anything for a good launch hence the date changes even though they buggered up the billboards, they knew going against c4 would have killed there launch.

I can say the whole entire spin so far has been word pefect for channel 5, the Charlie Sheen deal had never even got of the ground it was used as spin for the news along with tyson, and it worked big time - it grabbed the media.

How many more times can you delay telling the fans that live feed is axed if it is channel 5.This whole live feed thing has ruined the build up to BB for many of us as i myself find it hard to get bothered about a show that cant be bothered to give the fans what is needed to make it BB.I hope this is sorted out soon but really live feed should have been one of the priorities in the start.I think it it Endomol who have handled this whole saga badly and for some reason dont want a live feed for BBUK yet have no problem with it in all other countries they show BB.

Live feed is an extra cost to Endemol they want maximum profit for the bare minimum expenditure I think in the end getting BBOTS was probably an uphill struggle for CH5.
