no its from different angles, plus one has got cars outside
I originally fixed the link in CC100's post but I must have been doing this at the same time as he was editting it cos my 'fixed' link has disappeared.
CC100 - you need to put your links inside url tabs - like this {url}{/url} but with square brackets instead of curly ones - for them to work.

Yeah I think it is....
The reason I say that is p/h bought the house for
£360,000
and the house that is for sale is for
£ 224,950
hmmmm, I dont think so :spin:
By the way... CC100 - how on earth did you find that the house was for sale????????
- Mark :spin2:
Very interesting!
It does look suspiciously like the same property, although I suspect it's the ground floor flat that's for sale as one of the features listed is 'Living Room with Patio Doors'.
Paul and Helen bought the top floor flat, so I can't see them having a need for patio doors. :spin2:
Good find though, cc100!

Imaginations will be running wild. :joker:
This could be the chance of someone to be the downstairs neighbour of Paul and Helen.
A bit stalkerish that, mind you. :nono:
This is all assuming that the original picture in the paper was correct in the first place.
What kind of cars are those by the way?

Looks like the same property to me

The other possible reason why they would be selling a joint owned property at a loss, gives one a sick feeling, an impending sense of doom and a dread of next weeks issue of Heat Magazine as to what one may find.
Sorry
But I was told I have not been spreading enough doom and gloom about and Mort found that photo of me with the van toy. He was not a happy acting angel of death. (Bring back Grimmy is all I keep thinking)

Its obviously not their flat that is being sold coz, as Kaz said, theirs is the top floor flat, the one for sale has patio doors!
I wonder why theirs was so much more expensive?

Can I just say I was never sure it was their house in the first place!
It was described by P&H as the top floor flat in a victorian terrace house. This looks like a semi to me.
Having said that, it's a VW on the left and P&H were looking at VW's in the photo chilled so heartlessly discarded as her avatar.
Just in case I am remortgaing the Rob residence and my bank manger says no worries re the readies for said property
What was that film now, Pacific Heights?
Oh, and Sticks, you know that purple van of yours, well.................

I'm wondering if the difference in price could be because the top flat has an extra bedroom. The attic room shown in the piccie, perhaps, now done out as a love loft?

What an opportunity. I did ask Mr BB what he thought about moving to London as I had seen this fantastic place, lovely location, neighbours probably very nice. Unfortunately he called me a "Daft old bat" (term of endearment I think). All he could think of was how were we going to fit our lot into a two bedroom flat and how was he going to get to work each day. Trifling matters that and there was me thinking of the communal garden. I wonder if the neighbours use it for sunbathing????
I'll just have to go back to my dreams

Ground flats in london generally are less expensive than other flats because of security risks, more people want upper floor flats because of the higher risk of burgulary on the ground floor, i remember this is what the person told us when my mum was buying our flat.
The two flats look v similar hmm wonder what p & h have been doing in their flat to make the people downstairs want to move out!....

SO DO PEOPLE THINK THEY R SELLING?
No, I don't think it is Paul and Helen's flat that's for sale, cc100. It could well be in the same property, but my opinion is that it's the ground floor flat that has been advertised.
But what lovely neighbours the new occupant will have! :paul:  :helen:

I am organising a whip round. Now, by my calculation, if all the members of this site can stump up £595.11 each we can buy this outright.
The new TIBB convention rooms!
CHEAP AT HALF THE PRICE
Not a lot to ask really is it?
Bit of streetbusking, a paper round, use yur imagination!
We just have to do it!!!

in the advert it says "whole block shown"
so it could be the estate agents have a pic on file for that block
n e way if p/h had split up or were moving away then theres no way they could keep it quiet realistically.

What a load of worry worts we really are. I even spent part of my afternoon surfing through estate agents in Barnet information to see if I could find anything else out. It was advertised by several Agents, but did not say whether or not it was the ground floor flat, but going by others that were advertised it seems it must be because all the ground floor ones were around about that price.
By the way ROB I think your idea of a whip round is very good. I look after the petty cash at work - now what do I claim my £595 under?????

Sorry, can not make it.
Mort has a new productivity drive and wants us to work this weekend as well.
He tells us that there will be an important anouncement about Death (Grimmy to his close friends)
I have not seen Grimmy for months and the rumours are that Mort, Deaths deputy did him in to get his job.
It is a hard life being a prophet of doom
They have even given us an official e-mail address for Prophets of Doom (prophet.of.doom@theendoftheworldisnigh.co.uk)

Rejected
Forlorn and lonely
No one loves me
Must I travel alone?
I suppose I could be the old lady who lives alone downstairs with 15 cats.
Asking the nice young man upstairs to help me change a plug on my bedside lamp.........................
Leaving my flanellette nightie draped provocatively over the side of the downturned candlewick bedspread.................
A nice spot of 4711 dabbed into me decolletage,
IT's OK Sticks, I'll manage!

So the joint offer that ROB was putting together has been accepted has it. I will be forwarding my share of the cheque in the next couple of days. It's being put under the staff entertainment and morale boosting section of petty cash. Well I would definitely find it entertaining and it would certainly boost my morale. Only problem is I've got to get the cheque countersigned by the boss - I'll just have to get him in a good mood.
