Just watched an interview of his and he done an impression of him 'talking to the house', it was awful... He's too camp to present the show.
This is my only worry for the show this series.

He will no doubt improve, bound to be nervous stepping into Davina's shoes and on the show that made him famous. He will be great I am sure there's nothing to worry about!

They were posted ages ago dude.
Brian's campness is why everyone loves him anyway.

Emma is fantastic, can't wait to see her back on our screens. She's is so enthusiastic for the show, as Davina was, although Davina did lose the sparkle towards the end.

Hopefully... Well I hope Brian is axed all together and Emma presents the main show and Jeff Brazier stays on BBOTS :spin:

Stop Brian bashing please, we all (a lot of us anyway) love Brian, and I can assure you he won't be axed. I can see a strong possibility he and Emma may switch roles however. We haven't even seen him in action yet, so let's wait and see, less than a week to go and I am so excited for this now!

Hopefully it'll be in time for BB12 and Brian will go the same way as Natalie Cassidy and Zezi. Indeed I'd prefer Zezi to him.

Have you seen the advertising?
I think Brian's the least camp thing about all this.

Emma would have killed it and been so perfect for the job. Brian will make a mess of it to be honest.

At the mimute Brian is the only thing I dislike about the show he has a huge ego and comes across as if he loves himself.

He has mentioned seriousness for the job numerous times in interviews since he was announced as the presenter. It's clear from his twitter account that he's spending a lot of time at Elstree rehearsing etc now.
He did a screen test etc. The executives of C5 are happy they have the right man for the job.
"Too camp" is a preposterous reason.
There are lots of camp people who can present shows. Friday nights often have only camp presenters on - that's BBC1, ITV and C4.
I'm not going to judge him on the first few programmes either. I will judge him towards the end of the series.
I do still think Brian is the wrong choice, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt. It's only fair.

Brian might be considered "too camp" for, say, Match of the Day... but Big brother? Nah...
I'm not being homophobic but I really worry he'll be too camp to handle

didnt realise this was a Brian appreciation thread.... thought it was open to all forms of views - for and against.
I think we may all have different views on him.
I like Brian - always have done. I'd rather wait until we actually see him 'live' in action before deciding one way or another.

I think he will be well suited to it, after all he won his BB series and the Ultimate BB too,so clearly the BB viewers like him.

Paul O'Grady, Graham Norton and Alan Carr though all established presenters, unlike late night phone in quiz host Brian Dowling. He is a lamb to the slaughter, both in terms of stepping into Davina's shoes and nicking them from under the nose of Emma Willis. I just hope the inevitable criticism is treated as just that and isn't twisted by his so called fans into something that is isn't.
And he's still not forgiven for hijacking Davina's final moments either.
