No, it can have its benefits and drawbacks like everything else.

You don't always need someone to be upfront and aggressive as it can create unnecessary tension but also passive aggressiveness can also have several drawbacks.

Sometimes I think PA works better for making a point than AA.

It shows youre not scurd whilst giving the impression youre not that pissed (even though inside you could be fuming).

Obviously if your flat mate is being PA just to be a dick then :nono:

i think he feels inferior to me, not that anyone could blame him :p
we were sat inside all day yesterday and this morning so hopefully it was just a one off

What is passive aggression?

when you say something aggressive but word it in such a way so that you can quickly backtrack if they pull you up on it and pretend you didnt mean it in that way
