Seriously! I haven't seen one X Factor advert yet.

BB has billboards like everywhere, I've seen like 5 so far, in every daily star there's at least 2 or 3 adverts, 1 big one. Also there's been adverts on ITV1, C4, C5 and many other channels. This is the best promotion yet for the show!

There's adverts throughout all the primetime shows, that's really promo enough

I've seen loads of XF adverts actually, more than BB I'd say. But they are only getting shown on all ITV channels.

I was only thinking that nobody really knows X Factor was back but everyone knows BB is back!

Even if it is true which I doubt, X-Factor doesn't need advertising. It wasn't 'ending' and since auditions began there has been loads of press about the new judges.

Yup there is certainly more BB talk and promotion this year but the X Factor hardly needs any promotion anyway these days.

I've seen loads of XF adverts but I guess I do watch more ITV than 5 so y'know.

X Factor is so last decade now though, it'll fail anyway - this is Big Brother's Big Year.

There's been more X Factor ones than BB ones. I can only recall two for BB and i've seen about four for X Factor.

X Factor had like 15m+ for most live shows last year, I can't see it dropping below that just because there's new judges.

Alot of people hate it though - and like Cheryl and Simon.

Look at BGT, failing without Simon.

The thing most people didn't like about X Factor was how Simon and Cheryl were with each other..

If anything the first couple of episodes will get higher ratings than usual because people want to see how the new judges do

You kidding? The xfactor producers are much smarter then the BB crowd they certaily wouldnt spend money on advertisung the show. Xfactor has been promoting constantly since the last series ends. Look at all the clear promotion around judges in the US version one minute there in the next there out then there backin again and so on and so on. Then all the rumours about new judges in the UK then Simon leaves then hes back then certain other judges come back. All this covered feverishly by the media and best of all its free constant promotion for the show. BB has a poorly made video full of people most of the audience dont even remember for a couple of weeks and it costs a pretty budget I bet and still wont pull in a huge viewer count.

Who are the judges on XF this year?

I never watch adverts so I haven't really seen advertising for either. Although I have noticed that more people on my FB have been noticing the return of BB than XF starting.
