A new Guinness World Record was set on Bournemouth Beach at the weekend when 152 people had a shower together.

The participants - including a number of 'Lynx girls' - congregated under a specially-built six-metre tall shower from Lynx Shower Gel, beating the two-year-old American record of 145.

Anna Orford, the official Guinness adjudicator, said: "Lynx have constructed a fantastic showering tool, and the people of Bournemouth have to be applauded for getting into the spirit of the day and taking a shower together.

"Their reward is a new Guinness World Record for the most people showering simultaneously at the same venue. Congratulations to everyone involved!"

Okay then, here's a serious question... How come the majority of the girls are toned and tanned and the majority of the boys pasty, pudgy and really quite plain? What's in it for me, huh?

Its pointless as people taking showers together is not a common statistic or occurrence. Its just a pathetic marketing ploy for chav spray.
