I didn't like it. I felt the over the top long well produced video detracted from the song as I don't feel the song was fast enough to cope with that type of video. It seems more of a video for the sake of a video rather than something like telephone where I really think it added to the whole meaning. I feel the actual words in the lyrics are lost behind the characters she has tried to put on. And I don't think she acts a man very well lol.

But I did like the video I just don't think it fit the song particularly well.

Edge of Glory was too simple, so this is a good way to make up for it. It's nice. I hate the weird sexual **** but the field bit and the mermaid bit is great.

Still think EoG shoulda been the big video like this and Yoü & I should have been simple but I do like it. Not as good as Judas/EoG but miles better than Born This Way.

Hmmm I enjoyed the oddness of it but I agree with others here that have said its a bit disjointed. Some parts I just did not understand, e.g that bit with her strapped down and him shoving that needle thing into her mouth. I mean wat.

It would've been much better if it was her going on a journey to the barn and meeting her former love there or something to that effect. There was just too much in that video for my liking.

But still I liked its quirkiness.

Their dream (at first hers too, but mostly his) is to get married, Yuyi becoming normal and human. The scene is very dreamy and keeps persisting through the video, as something that could have been, but actually is unreachable.

Things start to get sour at some point. Yuyi, used to live in the ocean, has to live in a bath tub now and it’s not really best conditions for a mermaid. She’s also in the constant care of her lover and depends on him.
