Hi,
With tonights announcement of no live feed on TV or online and just updates on twitter and facebook aswell as via iPhone, iPad and Android apps (why BlackBerry isnt there i dont know).
I have only just got the BlackBerry 9105 off mum for 22nd birthday but if I have to give it her back and get a new phone for BB coverage I guess I will have to.
I just wanted to ask if Android phones are easy to use and what is the best to get in terms of battery, memory etc.
Thanks
Jay
Ryan.

Androids are significantly more user friendly than Blackberries anyway. I can give you loads of info, but what is your price range, cause there is a huge variety.
Finally, contract or PAYG??

I didnt mean to sound ungreatful just what is the point of having something that you thought would be a good thing to have turns out to be a dissapointment.
I got it because C5 said about apps but now its only iPhone, iPad and Android customers that get it.
Sorry
Dont apologize to us, apologize to your mother who went out of her way to buy you a blackberry thinking she was doing something nice, for you to then give her it back and say you dont want it because you cant get a big brother app, i'd love to hear that conversation

Thanks mate, I'm just a bit gutted like because it feels now like Ive said to mum that I wanted that handset, she has spent £300 on it and now after just 47 days of having it feels like its not worth having, Im gutted for her really because I will never say that I dont want it anymore to her face like obviously I am not that nasty ;)
Yeah if she's willing to spend £300 on you for a phone, i think she'd be a bit gutted if you boxed it up and gave it back to her simply because of an app lol, im more than sure everything they post will be on their twitter and facebook pages if they truly are trying to target a large audience, which wouldnt work if restricted to certain phones. But i see what u mean u must be gutted that its on everything BUT blackberry!

I certainly won't be buying any new phone just so I can watch clips or get updates sent to my phone. Personally, I think I'll lose interest in the show pretty quickly if they stick to no live feed.

I won't be buying any phones or applications that Channel 5 and Endemol want to get me to. They seem to be working with these other companies now.

Well it's obvious they were never going to put it on Blackberry.
iOS and Android are what the vast amount of the target market use so they will only release it on that, as with most apps.
As for Windows Phone, Palm OS, Blackberry and Symbian (despite this one being the most used mobile OS worldwide) these are unlikely to get anything to do with BB.
It would make more sense for them to set up a mobile-site offering the same content.
