Im kind of proud? dont know if thats the word to use, but i feel "proud" of channel 5 for being good sports about it all, they arent ignoring the channel 4 series and are getting the ex HM's involved, where as if it were channel 4 buying off 5 i could see them being more stubborn and trying to launch it with just voiceover on an advert

I'm not usually one to criticize channels but i have to say I have a growing hatred towards C4. First off with the whole, 'lets **** over C5's launch of BB with Twilight' which backfired :laugh2:

They need to grow up a bit. Considering the fact that BB actually made C4 worth watching for ten years. You would think they would give it a bit of slack.

To everyone slating C4 as a channel in general over this- It has consistently been at the fore-front of cutting edge documentaries and TV series since the channel began. The content is to a far higher quality than almost any other major channel in the UK and generally they push the limit as far as boundaries go with new TV shows. It was C4 that revolutionised UK TV in the first place. In short, they have no reason to be jealous of 5. They may have lost their way and their edge recently, but it is by no means '****ty' or 'pathetic' or 'crumbling' or whatever else... I have little doubt that the remark was most likely intended jokingly in a light hearted way. It been taken waaay too seriously on here.

In recent years Channel 4 have run BB into the ground. Yes they brought us some epic series but after the Jade fiasco they got scared of Offcom and delivered us an extremely watered down version of the show we use to love
